Pleasant short break
Posted Jan. 3, 2018 on ExpediaWarm and comfortable for a winter break. Plenty of room. Needed some minor repairs which we passed on. Ideally situated for Sidmouth and other nearby coastal towns. Overall very pleasant.

Modern accommodation in a lovely rural setting
Posted Apr. 1, 2017 on HotelsWe chose this modern accommodation because of its proximity to the Donkey Sanctuary - it is just across the road so the kids could see the donkeys every day. The house is very nicely presented with plenty of pots, pans etc. There is a dishwasher and washing machine which are a welcome addition. The living and dining area were spacious and well decorated and the bathroom has a bath and shower. The bedrooms were also quite spacious but the mattress in the double room Gould do with replacing.
We picked a quite week and it was very peaceful. My children were a little disappointed that the wifi was sketchy but I am not sure there is much that can be done about that. The only down side was that the reception was not open - there was just a notice telling us to go straight to the property. However, everything else was in order and we didn't need to speak to anyone during the week.

Great location, good value
Posted Mar. 27, 2017 on HotelsReally great location, nice properties well furnished. No WiFi signal, not amazingly clean when we arrived but not dirty. Overall a really pleasant stay with our 2.5 year old who loved the donkey sanctuary and beach!

The accommodation was of 5 star standard with everything you could wish for and more plus lovely views. The accommodation is within easy reach of towns and villages along the coast with some lovely pubs and food

Pros: Space and peacefulness.
Cons: A couple of outside comfortable chairs for the decking. Wi-Fi connection.
Location: A car is needed. No entertainment on site. Jurassic coast within 20 to 30 minutes in car.
The chalet was roomy and well furnished. There was ample space inside and out. A very quiet location which suited our requirements. It was close to the coastal towns and if you are prepared for a pleasant walk, a lovely beach can be reached by walking the path starting alongside the donkey sanctuary. We had only one issue with a less than comfortable bed and the staff dealt with that immediately. There is work happening on the site but there were no issues with noise. The updates being carried out look as though there could be improvements to the amenities. We would go back again and advise friends to try it if they wanted a quiet escape.

Wonderful accommodation, very clean, spacious and modern with all amenities provided. Set in peaceful location and we had a sea view.

Relaxing getaway
