Overall impression was good. Although Netflix and Roku were available, local broadcast television was impossible to access. House rules are emphatic that no cannabis is to be smoked on the property, even outside, so I had to go walk up and down the street to smoke. The cooking utensils were more suited to short stays and occasional meals than long stays and everyday cooking.

Home away from Home
Loved the fact that the photos and description of the property matched the contents of the home. From start to finish, the host, Zoe, was attentive to our needs, quickly responding to any inquiry both before and during our stay. We were looking for a place to unwind after long working days and this location 'checked' all the boxes. If we ever have the need to return to Vanc. Island, this is our 'go to' place to stay! My first Air B & B experience, and I was happy. Learned to open and close all drawers & cupboards to see what was what. A very complete inventory of anything you might need. My sister-in-law who was with me, thought her room was very cramped, and one of the beds was fine, other was not (she used the fine one). Not fancy but a nice area, close to everything, quiet.

Friend's Annual Getaway
We are 3 friends who like to travel to Sidney on a yearly basis. We have a friend in Saanichton and one of us has a son in Victoria. A place with 2 beds, a sofabed, a kitchen and a sitting area is ideal for us to visit with everyone. We enjoyed the large deck and hopefully will fire up the large gas BBQ for our next visit.

Paradise in Sidney BC
We spent 4 wonderful days in Sidney at this property and appreciated to the max the kind hospitality of the owner , who accommodated us without hesitation when we requested permission to arrive one day earlier than anticipated when our travel dates changed . The amenities are well stated in the offer listing , but convenience of the location being close to downtown Sidney truly made our stay manageable since we did not have a car. The property itself is nicely decorated and there is peace and quiet overnight that enables a restful sleep on very comfortable beds We would definitely stay at this property again if available Thank you Zoe !!

Convenient & Dog Friendly
It is a clean and well appointed half duplex with a private yard. The location is not so far from the Sidney city center, maybe 15/20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. We especially appreciated the space for our dog, that is new to the family. Our host was very easy to deal with, and they tried to provide everything you might need. I would recommend this place in general, unless you are needing something fancy or upscale. This place is for certain more on the practical side.

Very clean and well located to downtown Sidney, Ferries and airport. Ideal for couples but small for families. Outside deck furniture needs updating. There is a second rental with a divided wall. We were fortunate to have quiet neighbors for most of our stay but the last night we got new neighbors who were not as quiet so this could be an issue. Easy check in and out. No air conditioning and it did get warm. Paper products and basics in kitchen provided. Overall it met our needs. Hosts were accommodating electronically.

Good place, but lacking a few things to make it great.
The apartment was nice and basically clean. It is in a good neighborhood and close to downtown Sidney. The addition of an easy chair or recliner in the living area would make it more comfortable. Updating or replacing some of the kitchen utensils, adding extra glasses and a coffee mug or two is needed. My dog enjoyed the fenced back yard. However she's a small terrier and the wide spacing of the decking was treacherous for her--maybe the addition of a runner on the deck. My husband and I laughed over the baby clothes hangers in the closet, but saw no adult size hangers! One big improvement would be shelving in bathroom closet and a dresser or shelving in bedroom. There was was no place to put luggae or clothing. Overall a good place to stay in Sidney:: it just needs a little TLC!

This home had all the basic necessities and was a convenient location for us to visit with family in Sidney. The neighbourhood was very quiet which was great. However, the two double beds in the only bedroom were very hard and caused some back issues for us. Both beds appeared to be older mattresses with foam or pillow topper added. Could use new mattresses and then this property would be perfect!
