En plein coeur du centre historique

Pour : Proximité immédiate du centre historique et excellent accueil par la propriétaire (parle anglais uniquement)
Contre : Mettre la clim dans la chambre et un sèche-cheveux dans la salle de bain - proposer un petit déjeuner sur place
Une chambre à 130€ la nuit devrait proposer la climatisation - l'animation dans la rue se poursuit jusque tard dans la nuit et reprend à 6h avec les commerçants - il faut choisir entre ne pas dormir par le bruit ou ne pas dormir par la chaleur. Il n'y a pas de petits déjeuners - il faut dans aller dans un café sur la place (+8€ par personne) - nous sommes restés deux nuits - le ménage n'a pas été fait entre les deux nuits

This is certainly an extraordinary place. A centuries old Palazzo right in the Centre of Siena. From here you can explore every part of the town in walking distance. The location is simple but charming. And charming and most welcoming is also la Signora Daniela who is running the place! To be recommended if you like it nice and simple.

Great location, but it is very confusing because the photo used for advertising is a museum it is not the place you are booking. Also it is not the kind of hotel we are use to book, it is difficult, because if you don’t get to the property on time for any reason, they leave and you have to wait outside with your suitcase and hot weather. Next time I will book a hotel with front desk.
But I need to say that it was cleaned and nice room, bathroom and great location!

Dear Maria,we appreciate very much your liking about cleaning, room and excellent location.We would have appreciated it if you had read our many messages, answered our phone calls and emails: you didn't.Each photo on Expedia has a clear caption stating details of our property, and are also pictures of monuments just outside our building, like Piazza del Campo, the main square, so reading should not be an option.Before booking then, you can select the favorite kind of accommodation, no surprise at all.We uselessly waited for you seven hours without any reply from you, having two phones well working, one of them with Italian sim card, the same you used to contact me only after your arrival.You waited for me only ten minutes, with 18C (64.4F).I'm in afford with you: you were very confused, so I found you waiting not at our property, but at the door of a completely different address.Warmest regards

Proprietari disponibili e gentilissimi. Stanza davvero bella situata nel pieno centro di Siena, a pochissimi metri da piazza del campo. Un servizio eccellente. Consiglio vivamente chiunque a soggiornare presso palazzo Masi

I was directed to this property through Rick Steves lodging recommendation in his book on Italy. It is steps away from the city center with great restaurants nearby. The hostess was so nice. The room was very clean and decorated with antiques. I would stay at the Palazzo Masi again if visiting Siena.
