FIENILE (sleeps 10) this villa

Fienile, whose name means hay barn, is the newest unit at Borgo La Chiusa, it was totally restored in 2014, using top quality materials.
It develops over two floors, a surface of more than 200 square meters, private gated garden with views, sunshine and shade.
Accessed through a private gate, the barn boasts a grand entrance with a 3 meter arch and an elegant staircase.

Below sits a bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a wonderful open space kitchen/living/reading/dining room of 70 sq meters leading straight in to the garden.
A marvelous stone fireplace sits at the center of the living room.

On the first floor sit 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and 1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The marvelous original brick structure offers magnificent lighting and views over the rolling countryside.

The house is fully fitted and has floor heating/cooling system and air conditioning units in all the bedrooms.

Quintessential Tuscan Escape!
We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful villa. Everything about it was picturesque and relaxing. This villa has all of the modern amenities but still exudes Tuscan charm. Pre- visit communication was smooth and very prompt. The highlight of the stay was the dinner cooked for us the first night by Chef Vanna and Francesca. I am not exaggerating when I say it was by far the best meal we had during our trip to Tuscany and we ate at many very nice restaurants. If you are booking a stay I would highly recommend trying to schedule a dinner. Francesca was so welcoming and there was nothing better than sitting on the veranda after a long day with a glass of wine and gazing out at the garden and countryside. This was the perfect retreat for 3-4 couples and was a good location for exploring Tuscany. You will need a car as nothing is walkable but don't let that deter you. You will not regret booking a stay here!

A Tuscan Dream
The property is as fabulous as it looks in the pictures. It is located in tranquil countryside close to Siena and is a fantastic base to discover the area or do absolutely nothing! We loved it. Francesca is a fantastic host with great recommendations. The house has its own AC in every room and easy access to a gorgeous pool. Even when it’s hot in the summer, it’s easy to feel comfortable. Highly, highly recommend it!

Beautiful Tuscan Villa
We had the most beautiful stay, check in was very easy and communication was wonderful. We also booked Elisa who is a private chef that Simone recommended and she was so wonderful, food and hospitality was amazing and highly recommended. Villa is an easy drive to Siena and also a local supermarket. Highly recommended, the views and villa are just spectacular.

A perfect Tuscan villa
We stayed at this villa for a fun girls get away. It was absolutely perfect. We spent most of our time in the outdoors spaces which were so comfortable for lounging and dinner. The jasmine that lined the walls and ceiling was so fragrant and beautiful. The pool was a great size, clean and plenty of loungers. The rooms were large and all but one had an on-suite bathroom. The kitchen was stocked perfectly. I would definitely recommend having cars but the remote placement of the villa is exactly why we liked it.

We hosted our friends at this villa and it was an incredible experience! The villa is immaculate and Francesca did an amazing job ensuring all necessary items (cookingware, towels, etc.) were in the villa. The outdoor space is flawless, and we spent quality time in the outside seating areas listening to the birds, enjoying the sunshine, and taking in the glorious Tuscan landscape! I cannot recommend this location enough. For a couple days, there were people in the adjacent unit, but we never heard them and only saw them twice.

Exceeded our expectations in every way
We were so happy with our stay in this lovely home. The decor is impeccable with modern updates while still holding on to all the history and rustic beauty of this beautiful Tuscan home. Francesca took very good care of us, giving us helpful tips, helping us hire a remarkable private chef for an evening, answering our questions and decorating the house beautifully for Christmas. Our Christmas with our family here could not have been more perfect…complete with a walk to midnight mass at a beautiful old church down the road. This is home is beautiful. Bliss under the Tuscan sun
The pictures do not do it justice. Upon arrival to the property, we hoped that the villa would look as good as it looked online. The property and villa were far better than expected. Simone and Francesca proactively communicated and made the check-in process easy. Our family and friends all loved the villa, views from the outdoor sitting area, and the location which was a perfect base for day trips throughout Tuscany. We came back early a couple of nights so we could cook, drink wine and enjoy the fabulous setting. We look forward to rebooking when we visit Tuscany in the future!

I highly recommend this villa. We were given referrals for a chef in the villa and she was beyond our expectations. Gabriella, the owner, is responsive and the property is very clean and well maintained . The landscaping is a PERFECT Tuscan view. We stayed with 2 other couples, for a week, and had a FABULOUS time. I would recommend taking wine tours , Volterra , Siena, and Monteriggioni! The villa is a great place to unwind with family and friends

Spectacular Experience Again!
This was our second trip to Tuscany and our second stay at the Villa Fienile. We can not say enough good things about the Villa, the location and most of all, Francesca and her husband. The property is spotless inside and out. It is set up perfectly for up to 4 couples or a large family. There is plenty of space inside and outside so you do not feel crammed together. The pool is large and private. Francesca has plenty of suggestions for nearby restaurants and if you can plan ahead with her, she will arrange home cooked Tuscan meals prepared by her and her good friend Vanna. Simply amazing! If you want to explore Tuscany, Siena, and Florence, this is definitely a wonderful spot. The home itself was immaculate, well-appointed, and well thought out. We enjoyed Francesca's suggestions for a private chef and many other things. We will definitely be back!!!!
