Not coming back
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HotelsThe good: very close to the beach! Next to the trolly if you don't feel like driving. The apartment is in a nice and quiet area. The apartment provides most of your needs, but not like other properties I've been to.
The bad: The only reason I chose this place for a very high price was because it clearly states they have a gym and fitness area. Apparently this is simply NOT true. There is NONE. The property is very outdated with minimum amenities. Sheets are cheap microfiber, pots and pans are all scratched teflon, bathrooms smell like sewer. The owner did not provide basic necessities, such as hand soap, beach towels or even a scotch for the dishes and only 1 roll of TP in each bathroom for a 5 days stay. For people who flew in, those are not items we usually bring with us.
Communication: Horrible communication! One-sided! They only send you tons of contracts and agreements and rules etc., but not even one way to contact them. Their check out rules are ridiculous! They don’t work for you! You not only pay them, but you also work for them! You must take the trash, remove the sheets and do the laundry, LOL.
I think I received about 8 emails containing agreements/contracts and rules and this property is a non-refundable one!!! The load of emails and creating an account and all that was very disturbing and time consuming! Beware!
I can go on and on, but these are basically the highlights.
Did we enjoy our stay? Kind of… Could have paid third of the price for this kind of property

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that your stay with us fell short of expectations. We here at Distinctive strive to make every guest's stay as pleasant as possible. Before each guest checks in, Distinctive provides a link to our guest portal containing property information and amenities offered in each unit. As well as contact information and all codes needed for the stay. In the interest of our guests, we provide an initial roll of toilet paper, paper towels, and a trash bag for our guests however, any additional items needed that were not listed in the guest portal description must be provided by the guest. The fitness room is not listed as an amenity for this unit, which means it is not for guest use. We require a Signed Rental agreement for all of our reservations, as it is customary for all vacation rentals. During your checkout process, we only ask that you empty the trash and start the dishwasher (if Applicable), we do not ask our guests to strip beds, we take care of the rest. Due to your most recent feedback, we have provided our operations team with your concerns and plan to have a team go through this property to get things back up to our standards. We look forward to hosting you again in the future here in the Sunshine State.

Had a great family vacation! We loved the pools and the Taco Tuesday and band by the beach. Very family friendly. Beautiful beach.

We found a cockroach in the bathroom and had tiny ants on the counter so the unit needs to be fumigated for sure. They had 3 pools which was great and not a far walk to the beach.
