Publié le 2 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayDespite the order to evacuate for the hurricane we enjoyed our stay in the condo. The location was great and it was nice to be close to parking and the ground level. Thanks to Lynn for a refund for the rest of the stay. I appreciate it as I did not expect it.

Hi Barb,
The condo came through the hurricane with no damage.
In fact I'm living here because my condo has server flooding.
The Sarasota surf grounds are in bad shape. Elevators and lights didn't work. There is a lot of debris all around. I'm probably the only one living here now.
You were a real trouper. You received the evacition notice and did what you had to do. I appreciate that. I couldn't have helped you because I was in crisis myself.
Thank you so much for being such a good guest. Giving your money back was the least I could do.

Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayLove staying here, second year in a row at this beautiful condo. Lynn the owner is easy to work with and makes everything super easy. No need to bring anything for the beach, she has everything stocked, down to the towels!
Having such easy and close access to the beach is rare, the pools are pristine. This is a fairly quiet condo which is exactly what we like about it.
Planning to come back again in 2025 for 2 weeks, thank you Lynn!

FAMILY TRIP 2024

We love the location, the spacious condo and amenities.
We saw some "upgrades" this year, as a new refrigerator, stove , micro. Very nice!
The only observation is that the 2 queen size beds need updated mattresses .. occupants complained they kept rolling inward into each other. Also for first time, we used the sofa bed in living room. It had not been properly cleaned [popcorn,etc in bed] Threre were no extra linens.
Our stay overall was GREAT! These minor details did not deter from enjoying this fabulous condo. We look forward to staying again next year for our "family trip"

Thank you for taking the time to review my condo. You make some good points.
1. Queen beds - These mattresses were bought in August of 2023. They might be too soft for 2 people. Next time I will buy a firmer mattress.
2. The Sofa Bed. Unfortunately that pull out bed broke about 2 years ago so no one has been using it. Apparently, the cleaners didn't even think about trying to pull out the bed. I will tell them to pull the cushions off and at least clean where they can. (Were you able to use that sofa as a bed???? If so, I am surprised and very happy. Please text me and let me know if it is now working.)
3. I'm assuming that you were looking for linens for the sofa bed but since it was broken, we removed the linens.
We didn't want to send mixed messages as to whether the sofa bed was working or not. So sorry for the misunderstanding. Of course, if you need linens for the other beds, you can always wash your linens.
You will love your stay next year. In December, I am having the kitchen and both bathrooms remodeled...and...next week, I am having the entire condo painted. So, I am working on it.

A great time was had by all
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe only negative thing I can say about our stay was the mildew smell in the master bathroom when we first got there but nothing unmanageable. We just made it a point to keep the fan on for a while after showering. The size of the condo and proximity to the beach were wonderful. All the extras Lynn supplies was very helpful especially all the stuff for the beach. My family of 5 had an amazing time for our first visit to Siesta Key Beach.

Great Location and Very Clean

The building was the closest to the beach and was also next to one of the two pools; this made it super easy and convenient if we ever needed to go back while at the beach/pool. I really appreciated having beach towels, a wagon, cooler, chairs and beach toys there to use since we flew and couldn’t bring any of that with us. Lynn was very responsive when we reached out and made us feel very comfortable during our stay!

A week in paradise
Publié le 6 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayLet me start off by saying that the owner of this condo was amazing! She was always a phone call or text message away for anything we needed. The grounds of the condo complex were kept immaculate, the beach was beautiful, powder white sand and the water was clear and blue.
However, there were some issues during our stay. But, the owner was quick to respond and rectify the situation.
Some things I think other potential renters should know:
The condos themselves are old. They need to be updated badly! It had everything we needed, but just know, it is a very dated unit.
Also, there is no washer and dryer inside the unit. During our stay, the dryer on our floor was broken. So that meant we had laundry hanging everywhere in the unit, to try to dry it. That was a pain, but it worked out ok. We tried a few more floors, but those dryers did not work either.
Also, it’s advertised as sleeping 7, but the sofa bed was broken. Luckily, I brought a floor futon mattress with us just in case. If not, my son would’ve been sleeping on a couch for a week. Again, it all worked out, but I just wanted to let others know.
Most importantly, the owner was awesome. The beach was perfection. And my family and I had an absolute blast!! Even with the updates that I think need to be made, I’d stay here again! Cannot beat the location and this beach!!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and thank you for your patience when the microwave went out.
So sorry about the broken couch. Unfortunately, a guest broke it a few months ago. I thought I took all references to this extra space out of my descriptions but just looked and saw it was still referenced in another spot.
Yes, the condos are old. I am having the kitchen and bathrooms renovated just after Thanksgiving. I've already contracted for it to be done during this timeframe so those areas should be brand, spankin new by Christmas.
Thank you for pointing it out. It is my opportunity to let anyone reading this know that I am renovating those areas.
Because the condos are older, they asked people not to put washers and dryers in their units because of the older pipes. My condo is fitted for a washer and dryer but I decided not to put it in due to concerns over the pipes...and...we have very few problems with the washer/dryers that are within 15 steps of my front door.
So, Stephani....Hopefully next year it will be updated to your liking.
I would very much appreciate it if you would text me with any suggestions you may have regarding what updates you would like to see. (After having the condo for over 20 years, my eyes dont see it the same as a renter may see it. Help me out if you can.) Don't send the suggestions via VRBO because it will then be public and I wont be able to converse with you.
