At first the stay seemed lovely, the room was clean enough despite the bathroom not locking and water damage in the bathroom. The first night we bought "meal tickets" to eat in their facility ($29/pp adult) and the meal was... flavorless chicken tacos. Very disappointing and absolutely not a $29 meal. The next day my kids (carrying their sand pails and all) attempted to go to the sandy beach and were turned away by a lifeguard saying we did not have the right wristband color. He said we could ask at the front desk but but there was a fire alarm going on so "it might take awhile". When we did ask we were told only that simple HOTEL guests cannot use the beach or other activities, we'd have to upgrade. By then it was 4pm and no reason to (+ aggravated by the whole thing, crying kids, etc.). Breakfast (included) was very medicore though had a nice cold yogurt bar. One working waffle maker (which you do yourself) so very long lines. There was also a nauseating scent to the building from the cafeteria, my husband said it was a mix of cooking oil and cleaning products but it was very overpowering through the building but didn't make our room smell.
Housekeeping was nice when we needed something (I looked for sheets for the pull out couch but they pre-make the bed in it which is a bit odd to me but okay.)
Parking is frustrating, far away, fighting for unloading/loading spots.
I would not stay here again, very disappointing food and experience.
