Avis Waterfront relaxation, 3 bedroom lake house

The camp was quite dirty upon arrival owner left messages to use the right side French door due to them being very hard to open cobwebs all inside the camp bathroom toilet rocked when you sat on it and a clip was used to keep shower door closed ripped screens on some windows the boat dock was at least fifty yards out from the beach had to pull yourself or family out on flotation dock very ingenious however definitely a workout was not relayed that was how to use my boat upstairs was not little kid friendly due to the open area looking over the living room gaps were too far apart and a toddler could fall through them no door knob on one of the bedroom upstairs wasn’t what we were expecting

First let me say, the host is wonderful! Communication was great! He replied quickly to all my questions and was great! When it comes the house, it's more like a cabin (and I don't do cabins) because there were a few things that I wasn't expecting. Cobwebs everywhere, hair on the edge of the fridge shelves, a bathroom sink that would get clogged with just a simple hand washing, a stand-up shower stall wall that wasn't flush with the room wall, a vice grip at the top of the shower stall to keep the shower door closed, a deck that looked like something a preschool child made is popsicle sticks, a back door that couldn't shut completely or if you could get it shut, good luck getting it open! Stairs that could only accommodate 1/2 of my size 7 shoe per step, a railing on the second level that a young child could easily fall through and every morning, I looked for where our uninvited guest left his **droppings** overnight (We named him Stuart). But hey... We had some OPENED food in the cabinets & fridge. The positives include comfortable beds, a large dining table, ample bath towels, a kayak and canoe, wood for the fire pit, a huge screen tv, an AC unit, a wood burning stove, and a dock. Not what I was expecting based on the photos but had a great time with family.

Quiet environment, nice house and view. Enjoyed the games and puzzles especially on the rainy days.

Nice old place to stay at, will definitely rent again. Owner answered questions immediately on the pjone, that was a plus. Living room a little tight for 6 people if that could be an issue . Overall very happy

Gary was great. Cabin was smaller but still comfortable for our party of 5. Trail access from right out front on the Lake or across the road we found a trail leading through the woods that connects to ITS 83. Wood stove was key this week as the back room stays much cooler when the furnace isn’t heating the whole house. Over all, we’d stay again.
