Breathtaking Views

The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning vista of both the beach and the intercoastal. It was truly a memorable experience. Property was clean and staff was AMAZING!

Beautiful property. Beautiful condo. Disappointed to learn immediately upon check-in that it is a Marriott property, a hotel, which is pertinent info to share with prospective renters. First of all, it changes the “vibe” of the building (it wasn’t nearly as private as I expected). If I wanted a hotel property, I would have searched for locations and used my Marriott award points that I’ve earned through the years. Instead, I get there and realize that not only is it anything BUT private, I am unable to register as a Marriott guest, which wastes the thousands of dollars I spent for the 3 nights. I felt duped. Secondly, amenities weren’t clearly and openly described. There is a daily charge for WiFi (unless of course I could have checked in as a Marriott Elite member but...). Also, it isn’t clearly stated that you must bring your own beach chairs down to the beach, instead of using the beach lounge chairs provided by the hotel. Basically, the amenities listed as part of this condo are greatly exaggerated/not fully disclosed. I ordered room service twice, the food was excellent. But on the second night they didn’t deliver my completed order. I called downstairs 3 times to ask for it to be fixed, and despite promising to come right up, they never showed. Quite disappointing. Again, beautiful condo, but I urge the owners to commit to FULLY disclosing EVERYTHING in the property description for future prospective renters. It’s just the right thing to do...especially at this price point! Thank you!

There is a Guest Services Team and a Concierge team that is ready to serve all guests, that was not utilized to acquire correct information before writing a negative review based on mis-information. All of the 239 Hotel Suites at this Beach Resort are privately owned and are managed by different management teams. The only difference is that one of the management teams utilizes the Marriott reservation system. All guests have full access to the Shared Facilities and Amenities which shares all the same staff. There is no charge for Wifi in this room unless you do not read your check in emails, read the informational binder located in the room, or contact Guest Services to inquire. Wifi is FREE in this room. All Guests can register at the front desk for resort wrist bands and key passes to all areas of the property, and to establish a charge account for ALL the amenities including: Room Service, Restaurant, Spa, and Pool/Beach Activities. This includes beach lounge chairs "provided by the hotel". Regardless of which management team a guest books through, the beach chairs are available for a charge. You do not have to bring your own beach chairs. The amenities listed are fully disclosed. All of the activities on the Properties are available using a la carte payment without a mandatory nightly resort fee that is forced upon guests who book with the team that uses the Marriott reservation system. Daily housekeeping occurs between 9:00am - 6:00pm usually before noon. Staff will not enter if the "do not disturb" icon is activated. Contact information to Guest Services and helpful in room information/internet instructions can be found in the informational binder located in your suite. A general information sheet is also located on the back of the suite entry door. It is disappointing to see negative content in a review that is completely based on mis-information.

Enjoyable and relaxing

Great apartment on the last floor (21st) beautiful views and has everything you would need. Hotel staff was super nice and attentive. There's one restaurant and two tiki bars; although you can get food as well. The kids pool was great for them and parents as well. I would consider coming back here in the future as my getaway.

Luxury?

Renting a not inexpensive “luxury penthouse,” one would have high expectations. Prior to arrival l, I twice phoned hotel with NO answer?! I Then emailed. No reply. I needed to arrange a package delivery. At check-in staff wasn’t sure on best way to ensure expedient delivery to me. Upon arrival at room, carpet outside door is worn/stained. Inside closet door is dinged & paint chipped. The bed frame was DIRTY. As in covered in dust. This was very obvious & easily remidied w/ a quick pass of a cloth. Evidence of lackluster cleaning. The ceiling fan also COVERED in thick dust. There was a candy wrapper on floor behind bed headboard. There were dishes in the dishwasher! The water “pressure” in the unit is terrible!! Open full, you barely get water. AND the WATER IS YELLOW! My husband thought I had added something to the tub when it had finally filled. Needless to say, I drained & didn’t use tub. (GROSS) The toilet has a “weak flush.” The response to this is in the form of a typed note that reads: “If you clog it, it is up to you to unplug...” REALLY? My husband checked-in w/ valet night before our departure re our car as we had an early flight. He was told no worries, valet is a 24 hr service. The following morning after 10 mins and no sign of a valet I went to front desk to seek help. (Waited almost full minute for front desk clerk) Front am desk clerk did run about trying his best to locate key. When it didn’t come, my husband & split up looking for car/valet. Ultimately, my husband jogged off w/ valet to get the car as it was pinned in and he was busy on his own and asked my husband if he would mind helping. While singularly any of these things may not be deal breakers. Collectively, these insidious things surely will prevent us from recommending or returning. 3-stars were for the beach

Dear Guest, Special attention and assistance is given by Guest Services to each guest that checks in. Simple communication from you would have resolved everything mentioned. It is clear that your review is malicious in nature, as not one of these issues were not brought to the attention of the Guest Services team. 1. The concierge in the lobby has a separate desk and phone number. They handle all of the guest's special requests such as package delivery. 2. Normal wear and tear such as dings or chips occur with transient rentals and are taken care of during regular maintenance sweeps. 3. Daily housekeeping comes timely every day and cleans this unit. It is not unusual for a guest to be picky with cleaning. For sanitary reasons, dirty dishes are dishwasher cleaned daily and left clean in the dishwasher. Guest Services did not receive any complaints or special requests from you regarding any housekeeping. issues. Housekeeping came each day and performed their duties. 4. The hotel maintenance reports that the water pressure was tested and is in full working order. The water on Singer Island has minerals in it. 5. The in room maintenance such as toilet clogs are handled by our Guest Services team. Guest Services did not receive any complaints from you regarding any maintenance issues. The toilets were checked upon check out by a room checker, and found to be in perfect working order with no clogs. 6. During the season, the valet service is quite busy especially when there is full occupancy.

Wonderful resort! Was perfect for the couple's getaway. Loved the views from this room. Everything you need or want is right here, fitness area, restaurants, and the beach. I will be staying here again for sure
