Check in time is listed as 3 PM, we arrived at 3:05, and we were told by the Cleaning staff to come back in an hour the apartment was not ready! We rented the apartment for 4 nights. We contacted the Rental agency when we could not get in, We did not receive an answer. This was a big headache, our plane landed at 10 AM, and we did our shopping and Made our way to the complex by 3... We had dinner reservations at 5 PM with my 87-year-old mother. We were planning on showering and getting dressed between 3 and 430... We were not given access to the apartment till after 4:30! We had purchased ice cream and other Items that needed to be refrigerated. The ice cream melted... And we threw out some food that we did not think would be salvageable after sitting in the car for an hour and a half in hot weather. Never received any communication from them. I am posting pictures to show The uncleanliness of the apartment when we Were finally allowed to go in. Hair on the wall in the bathroom, Broken blinds and doors, Rugs that do not sit flat on the floor and are a tripping hazard, dirty vents on the ceiling, Mold in the showers, stained lamp Shades, The floor was not vacuumed but it was mopped with something sticky. Fridge was clean, but countertops in the kitchen had some kind of sticky food on them. Bring paper plates and plastic utensils if you stay here. Next time we stay at the Marriott.
