Amazing house with all the amenities - wish the property manager had better customer service

The house and amenities exceeded our expectations - the pictures don't do it justice. We loved the secluded location backing up to the forest, the well-stocked kitchen, all of the kid's toys, games, bikes, and even children's plates/utensils and a closet full of baby equipment. It was a great layout for the 4 families staying to spread out and have their space. We would have given this property 5 stars if it wasn't for the property management, which could have had better customer service. We were disappointed that after a day and a half, we ran out of dishwasher pods (the house was supplied with 4 when we arrived, and in a house with 13 people, you can imagine we had to run the dishwasher twice a day), paper towels, and were down to our last 2 rolls of toilet paper. When we called Vacasa to request more of these basic items, we were told that they do not supply refills on amenities and we needed to go purchase our own. We were disappointed, to say the least, that after paying so much to stay at a high-end home, we were on our own to go out and buy dishwasher soap, paper towels and toilet paper - all very basic necessities.

Great House & Private Getaway

We had a great stay! House is at the edge of the Black Butte property so very private. Great layout, comfortable beds, clean, & large hot tub. Kitchen well stocked. We had 2 issues that could easily be resolved. 1) The house was set to 55 degrees & took almost the whole 1st night to come up to temp. We made a fire in the beautiful living room so was ok. 2) I asked for a late check out because my group sleeps late & was daylight savings- never heard back from management until scolded that we were late.

Amazing house

Wonderful property in a great, private location. Amazing fireplace. The bunkbeds in the bunk room were a little wobbly, but just need some tightening. Other than that great property would highly recommend loved having the private backyard that leads out to the forest. Great views, wonderful privacy. Great property for families, so many toys for the kids to play with.

Beautiful home, but unimpressed with communication

The house was fantastic and had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds, huge living room, dining room, and outdoor space. The house is located at the other end of Black Butte Ranch from the main entrance, meaning it was a 15 min drive to get from the house to the main road, and then 15 min to get into Sisters (30 min total). The listing is managed by Vacasa and so communication is difficult. Because Black Butte Ranch is a private community, in addition to the VRBO fee, we also had to pay $9/person/day to enter the property, which was not communicated to us up front, so it was a disappointment in incur an extra $200+ charge for our entire party.

Great Golf Group Property!

While not on a course, this home had everything needed and more for our group of 8 golfers. The setting was quiet as the home backs up to forest land. House was styled well, hot tub and outdoor living space was perfect.

Beautiful. Quiet. Private.

Beautiful, ckean home with lots of windows, super comfy beds, a well stocked kitchen with an unbelievable coffee station, and multiple outdoor benchs, tables and chairs to enjoy the wooded back yard. The hot tub was a nice amenity too. Definitely a well-cared for house. It was perfect for our group of 6 friends to spend a few days together.

Clean, stocked and ready

GM 428 was in great shape. The vacasa management is hard to work with. I tried half a dozen times to get a straight answer on checking in early and out late and their style of management is to give you automated responses from half a dozen staff members. All I needed was one phone call, with a real person for 5 minutes. So house great. Management was meh.
