Great Memories

The Hughes house was a highlight … mornings watching the ocean out the kitchen window and eagles flying by was special. Close to a grocery store and downtown nearby made for easy visiting of the Sitka activities. Wonderful memories of our stay at Hughes home!

Our family did not rent a car which was fine for us but you have to be willing to walk because town was about a mile and a quarter from town. One day we rented bikes and scooters. Very fun. Would recommend this house and area to all interested in the outdoors

Stunning view family friendly home

This advertisement is actually for a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath house. not a a 5 bedroom 2.5 bath.
There is an additional charge which opens more rooms and an additional bathroom for you. Host was unwilling to open the rest of the home to us after arrival, even though we were willing to pay the additional fee to accommodate our large group. As a result, we were somewhat cramped and had to have one guest sleep on the couch.
I would recommend the house, but the listing is misleading.
