Gemma and John are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming, they both could not do enough for you us during our stay. Provided a pack up breakfast for us on the first morning we stayed. Can thoroughly recommend The Fountaindale

The hotel was lovely John and Gemma were lovely hosts. It was very a very welcoming feel and the whole of the hotel was immaculate and spotless. The rooms are colour co-ordinated and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you Gemma and John for a really enjoyable holiday

The mattress was very hard and we did not sleep very well. They need to spend more money on better mattressses than on fancy cushions. At the end of the day it is a bed and breakfast and having a good sleep is very important

Thankyou for your review- the beds are very expensive orthopaedic beds so the mattresses do not suit everybody but had you have mentioned this we would have put a topper on for you. As for said expensive cushions you are correct they are expensive as made to order and match each room- there was no need for you to stain the sofa and said cushions, leaving grease in 3 drawers and all drawers open on your departure also not forgetting the damage to the shower aqua board. Needless to say you have been disrespectful from the time of booking until leaving and you will not be welcome here again. In 10 years of this profession i have never had to refuse a guest but i am afraid that if we are not good enough for you then i am sure you will find many establishments with our rating here in Skegness (not!!)

Awful customer service meant I could not be accommodated for the first night of my stay and I was not offered a refund.

Unfortunately the T&C's state that our last check in is at 7pm you were disrespectful and rude demanding a later check in that was another 2-3 hours after the 7pm cut off. You decided to be difficult and instead of cancelling the reservation you proceeded to the property the day afterwards and then continued to be rude and now have left this review. Im sure that guests booking will see the reviews posted by all guests who have stayed and make a judgement when booking us in the future.
