Beautiful views. Perfect location. Extremely clean and friendly. We didn't have the famous breakfast (for dietary reasons), but if you want to sleep past the time (8 am), it would be tough.

Thank you for your review.It is unfortunate your room was right opposite with breakfast room where guests wanted breakfast from 8am. Unusually it is much quieter at this time. One of the suites may have been a better choice for anyone on room only, wanting to sleep until noon.

Wonderful hosts, appreciated the extras, like fresh milk and homemade cakes in the room fridge on our arrival.
Supersize room with settee and great view across the garden.
Breakfast was superb.
Lots to do in the local area and we plan to return.

One of the nicest bed and breakfast rooms I’ve ever stayed in ( swaledale room ) , very friendly and helpful hosts and a delicious breakfast ! Will stay again !
