Unique manor with the best service ever
Posted Aug. 5, 2018 on HotelsIf you find yourself in Skrunda, this would be your best choice. It is an old manor in a park like setting on a river. There is not much in the local area and the hotel seems more likely a wedding or event property. We were the only guests. But the young man behind the front desk was extremely professional. He also served us dinner which was delightfully served outside on the river bank. He wore white gloves. And breakfast was a feast in a very opulent dining room. We felt like we owned the place. This really was a unique night.

Gem in an enchanting setting
Posted Jul. 16, 2018 on HotelsWe love this place! Beautiful surroundings, lovely service, comfortable room and delicious food. We were upgraded to a suite with a fabulous view. The bed was comfortable. Only small negative is the bathroom had a hospital feel - the room was accessible. We would love to come back.

Very nice place, perfect for family stay with children, super tasty food at the restaurant. Best children playroom (better than in any other hotel we gave been all around Nordics) and good playground outside. Recomend and for sure will return there!
