Mostly enjoyable, slightly misses the mark
Publié le 15 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayLocation is great for getting to Stevens Pass. The cabin is comfortable, great open kitchen and lower floor plan.
Living room is cozy and picturesque with great views of the surrounding mountains, weather permitting.
We enjoyed our time here, the "chalet" is nicely appointed with modern furniture.
Extended checkout to 8pm for $75. We were able to get another day of skiing in which was nice.
Master bed was not comfortable, the frame feels like it is about to fall apart. Linens and towels were cheap and scratchy.
Bathrooms are dated. Heated toilet seats were an interesting novelty. Water temp is either cold or scalding, not much of an in between.
Hot tub remains broken (see earlier reviews). None of the jets work, you're just taking a bath together. Also, the owners have a ring camera pointed right at the hot tub. It does get hot at least.
All in all, great location to stay while skiing but the chalet misses the mark quality wise for the price point.
I wouldn't go so far as to not recommend it, just understand you're paying for proximity to the mountain more than anything.
Rental company staff were polite and accommodating.

We were sorry to see that this guest did not enjoy a 5-star stay, which is always our goal- and that they made no attempt to contact us so we could help. We just can't stress enough how important this is! We would have happily explained that they just needed to turn the jets to divert air to them, as instructed in the guest book at the cabin. The hot tub works fine, any “earlier reviews” they refer to are from a heater failure years ago. The Ring Camera is disclosed and due to logistics can’t be moved, but is set up to have a black box over the spa area to not record anyone in the hot tub. There is even a switch to turn it off if guests want. We will immediately check the bed frame, but the owner spared no expense on the high-end mattress which is less than 3 years old. Our Comfortwill Linens and Charisma Towels are of top quality and feedback on them is overwhelmingly positive; as a green company we do not use environmentally destructive fabric softener which perhaps this guest is used to. This is a large home priced for larger groups of up to 8, so perhaps the price point was not suitable for his group of 3. We hope readers can see from our dozens of 5-star reviews that this low rating and poor feedback was the unfortunate experience of one uninformed guest. We are live, local hosts offering 24/7 support and almost everything mentioned here could have been rectified with a phone call.

Relaxing Mountain Chalet

We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting. Would recommend this property without hesitation. Thanks for a great place for our family to get together.

A lovely stay in the wilderness
Publié le 30 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayThe house was very clean and cosy, had all the supplies we needed, and was well located close to trails and the national forest. We enjoyed our evenings by the fire (nice fire pit) and appreciated the climate control during the heat wave.
There was slight confusion at check-in as we got outdated instructions for opening the key box, which was actually not needed: all we had to do was open the keypad lock. It was also somewhat disappointing that the hot tub kept overheating, but the management company was extremely responsive to our needs, so no complaints here.
One of the big pluses was also the fact that the house is equipped with smart tv. The down side here though was that most subscription channels required updating, and we couldn’t do that without a password. But come to think of it, I never raised this question - the issue might have been easily resolved. But tv was not a priority for us - playing outside was!
On the whole, we had a very restful and pleasant stay!

Lovely stay!
Publié le 24 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time hanging out in the house and walking down to the river. Very bright and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and pretty comfortable beds. You can't see any other houses from the property, so it feels very private, and there were beautiful views of the mountains in all weather!

Publié le 18 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for 3 nights with another family, using this property as a base to ski Stevens pass for consecutive days. We loved that it was only ~25 min drive to Stevens, house was very clean, updated, well stocked and cozy. It was nice having a hot tub to enjoy after the ski day. Kids loved playing outdoor in the snow while adults could watch them from the window inside. Heated toilet seats was a bonus too. Property management team was easy to work with. We already plan our next return trip to Money Creek Chalet when we ski Stevens pass again.

Full joy for white Christmas
Publié le 8 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe loved this property at the first sight and felt more satisfied that it looked actually even better than the listing details. All the electrical appliances are quality brands, the cookware is a little bit worn out but clean and good to use, it has everything we need. During our stay, it was almost snowing everyday, we enjoyed staying in the house with Xmas tree and all the board games, and also the jacuzzi outside in the white scene. The communication with property manager was great, we always get fast response, especially when we need help to shovel snow on the driveway. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again in winter or in summer for different scenery!!
