Was honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in.
I travel all over the country and whenever I’m around west London I will stay here
Rooms spotless and staff are amazing

Very happy with my stay at A.J. Lodge. A comfortable, clean room at an absolute bargain price. Due to a late arrival I was concerned that there might be issues on check in but the receptionist I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful.
One slight issue but certainly not enough to stop me staying again. The restaurant area smelled very strongly of stale grease and this smell hit you as you walked in through the front door. It put me off having breakfast in the morning.

Dear Christopher your top rating of your stay is highly appreciated. We don’t deep fry anything and grill the sausages and bacon. The eggs are freshly made to order. The staff have been asked to open to back door for extra ventilation when needed. As per previous reviews you missed out on a lovely breakfast. Maybe next time :)

The rrooms were very clean and tidy. We booked a room with a shared bathroom and the
bathroom areas were also verry clean and accessible. I thought the lodge was good value for money.

A GREAT place to stay; for a night or a week.
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HotelsI REALLY like this Guesthouse/ b&b/ Hotel. It is WAY better than the big chain-hotels (Travelodge and Premier Inn for example). Nothing is too much for the staff and they genuinly make me feel welcome everytime I book. The rooms are not the most modern but who cares when it is spotless and clean. The breakfast is a full made-to-order 'English' and there are also all the continental stuff in buffet form (so you help yourself) to toast, jam/ honey/ marmalade/ chocolate spreads etc. Also, REAL coffee from a coffee machine (any type: mocca, cappuccino, Americana etc). Also, normal-and fruit teas, pain-de-chocolate, 4 different cerials, fruit yoghurt, basket of fresh fruit, fruit juices and I can go on and on... all in all, a great bed, great staff, great breakfast and VERY clean rooms and bathrooms. And two different car parks to choose from (incl in the room price). Depending on day etc, the rooms start from £55 and I think a family room is just over £100, but don't quote me on that. Don't tell them, but this standard SHOULD be way more expensive...

Much better than any chain-hotel!
Publié le 19 juill. 2024 sur HotelsI usually stay in chain-hotels when I'm in the area, but never again. AJ is cleaner, more keenly priced, friendlier, has better breakfast and are more convenient than any chain-hotel in the area. If I could rate AJ with 10 stars, I would!

Publié le 18 juill. 2024 sur HotelsPrima hotel, wij hadden kamer met badkamer. Vrij ruime kamer met koffie en theefaciliteiten. Badkamer met douche in bad. De straal is niet heel sterk dus je moet wel even zoeken naar de straal. Ontbijt is helemaal goed ze maken van alles voor je. Wel vroeg van 7 tot 9. Onze kamer was 2e nacht niet schoongemaakt dus zelf even schone handdoeken geregeld. Maar zo voor 1 of 2 nachten prima op doorreis. In de buurt niet veel wel aan drukke weg en wel goede parkeerplekken . Eigenaar zeer vriendelijk en alles kan geregeld worden

Good value, clean and tidy room
