As the description of the property does advise it is located 10 minutes from London Heathrow some noise from airplanes is to be expected! The rotation and direction of flights landing/taking off is never all day and very often none at all in the direction of Colnbrook, so I do question your possible misguided advice of constant plane noise.

Lovely house and stay!
Publié le 10 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a lovely well equipped and well maintained house. Great location for Legoland and surrounding area.
It has everything you need to make your stay comfy and the Ostrich Inn across the road has fab food if you don’t want to cook.
It does have some noise from the planes but we knew that beforehand with it being close to the airport and my daughter loved plane watching with her dad from the loft window.
Would defo come back and stay again.

We loved, that there were 2 sleeping rooms and 2 bathrooms.

Getting Started

Lovely Holiday!
Publié le 31 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe spent 9 fantastic nights at Victoria’s property in Colnbrook. It was the perfect jumping off point as we visited the Cotswolds, Lulworth Cove, Hever Castle in Kent, London and Windsor. The area is quiet and adjacent to the property is an Inn that dates back to 1106, it’s has some very interesting history that we all enjoyed, and very nice food. We enjoyed coming back to the townhouse and heading out by foot for our evening meal. They also offer a tasty, traditional English breakfast and the coffee was perfect. The local grocer offers many staples should you need anything during your stay. Victoria was so helpful and considerate of our family, and readily available to offer recommendations! Probably our best family vacation, ever. We will be back. Take the trip, make those memories!

beautiful cottage with charming back yard
