Publié le 28 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed here with 2 grandparents, son and 3 grand daughters plus a dog. Great location for the young girls, easy walk to the lake and kids playground. Views over the lake and 2 large covered verandahs. Safe enclosed garden for the dog, Koko. The owner has a way with plants, very green and lush. Appreciated the 3 bathrooms and laundry with washing machine and dryer. A pleasant stay all round

Great Stay in a nice hosue well located

Clean and tidy house, lots of bedding, and an excellent yard for our dog. A quiet and peaceful house with large balconies, perfect for relaxing with a view over the lake. Smiths Lake is a great place for relaxing holidays with the family.
Our dog has the best holiday on the lake and the house proximity allows him to enjoy his holiday- more than us.
We will be back Thank you.

Special birthday celebrations
Publié le 1 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe booked so that my, adult, family and our dogs were all together to celebrate a special birthday.
The house was well equipped and gave us the opportunity to do everything we wanted to as a family, while having our dogs with us.
There are lots of dog friendly beaches nearby. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house is big enough for 5 adults.
I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

Very disappointed to receive my first negative review in over 200 on different sites
Explained to guests before arrival that i had a “Hammer” problem with the water pipe under the house and couldn’t get a plumber over the easter period. Fixed now though.
What he was listening to from his bed i do not know, and really do not want to know.
I am the only resident down stairs in the granny flat when in Smiths. Maybe an occassional friend will pop in but i am always quiet and repectful of guests upstairs 🤪

Fantastic lakeside cottage

Perfect for our family and 2 dogs
