Quick country getaway
Publié le 14 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was an outstanding trip! The house is in a great location outside of town and a short walk to the river. The living room and dining areas are roomy and comfortable and the beds were fantastic. The house is clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. Plenty of outdoor seating to spend time talking and listening to the wind through the trees.

Short stay but nice

Beautiful Location

Publié le 3 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house was fine for a quick stay and the property manager was responsive when called. Of important note, the listing is misleading in that there are only 2 bathrooms (not 3 as listed) and the home is not 1700 sq ft (it was around 1200-1300).

Thank you so much for your review and your feedback! We apologize the listing appeared w/third bath added with no amenities after checking the listing for accuracy, it was removed. We confirmed the sq footage with the owner. Being three stories it may be misleading and feel smaller, the stairs in the center of the house may take up more square footage. Short reunion

Lovely, Peaceful Country Location
Publié le 1 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed our time at Whispering Winds with a family group in town for a wedding near Cedar Creek. We especially loved the peaceful nature sounds day and night, as well as the beautiful night skies. The house was very comfortable for a group, with lots of fun outdoor hang-out areas. Highly recommended.

Getaway right in town
Publié le 18 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwaySo close to city but still felt so secluded. Had friends from Austin and Elgin come meet us some spend night. Enjoyed swimming in river with kids and playing on huge hill. Kids loved the tree and stayed in it most of the trip.
