Not keeping the promise

Pour : We stayed the previous week and it was OK because the power was there.
Contre : Management
Emplacement : Nothing to see, right on the road. Just passing through place.
Arrived while there was no power, no water and no internet. Reception forgot to mention this when we checked. And hardly any action taken. Stand-by generator was also not able to deliver power to our room. Conclusion: we left and went to another hotel. It is all a management problem.

I am sorry to hear that your stay the second time was compromised. We do have an issue with load shedding in Zambia unfortunately but our back up generator is usually on continuously when there is no electricity. The generator then makes water and internet available. I will follow up with the Lodge Manager and find out the details of why your stay was so unsatisfactory. We will correct these issues in the future and would like to offer you a discounted rate on your next visit. Deepest apologies and we take your feedback very seriously.

Hotel is near the road...food is nice and hotel attendants are awesome

They can inprove on there food preparation. Food were cold.

I've had a wonderful stay at Floriana! It's a beautiful location, the staff is so friendly and welcoming, and I've enjoyed relaxing in my clean room, running on the treadmill in the gym, eating delicious food, and hanging out by the pool. Thanks Floriana! I'll definitely be back!

Exceeding my Expectations

Floriana Lodge is very well situated off the main road in Solwezi, Zambia. I must admit that I was not expecting much from a lodge in a small town like Solwezi but i was pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely welcoming and professional. My room was definitely clean, international standard and had all the amenities that I was looking for. The availability of the gym, spa and swimming pool was definitely an added bonus. While the menu was basic, the food was tasty and I very much enjoyed the fresh garden salad provided. All in all, I would say that Floriana Lodge provided good value for money and i would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great stay

The Floriana overs good services and rooms. The restaurant has a good variety of dishes and well prepared. The wifi in the rooms is a bit weak but generally the signal in the restaurant and reception area is fine. The gym is also well equipped and the pool is also nice.
