All plumbing and heating systems are new, with new bathroom fixtures, an efficient central heat pump for both heating and cooling, and individual room temperature controls. On a cold winters night, the stone fireplace with low maintenance gas insert provides for additional heat and ambiance.

A big attraction of this property is the access to the outdoors. A large multi-level wrap around deck provides outdoor living space, and sits high above the bubbling trout stream in the valley below. The deck is built around a hemlock tree, which provides for pleasant summer shade. Huge rock outcroppings, mountain laurel, and ferns surround the property. Private trails provide access to a mountain spring and the stream, available for fishing (class 1 trout stream). A trail leads directly to the adjoining state park, with lake, sand beach, and numerous hiking and picnic options.
