Sooke reprieve
Publié le 1 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis suite was perfect for me while working in Sooke. The location was very convenient. It had all the amenities I needed. Nice deck space to enjoy the ocean view. A box of tissues was the only thing I could have used. Jennifer was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

There is also a resident sea lion who announced himself on a regular basis. One day there were a orcas cruising around. Probably looking for a tasty sea lion snack! I would go back. Nothing more needs to be said.

Tranquil Sanctuary
Publié le 14 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayJust what we needed to get away from the snow and cold for nearly a week. Perfect for the two of us, had everything we needed. If anything was missing (oven mitts) a quick text to the owner fixed it.
Our own deck which we would have used more in warmer temperatures. A lovely new staircase down to the shoreline. Sunrises out the kitchen window/deck and sunset colours in the evenings.
Easy walking and driving distance to restaurants and other amenities (drugstores, grocery stores, etc.). Tons of local hiking trails a short drive/walk away as well.
Some traffic noise during the day but never an issue while we were trying to sleep.
Highly recommend and we will be back!
