horrible experience at this hotel -

Pour : The only thing I liked was the decoration of the house. It was pleasantly modern. The pool was clean.
Contre : All needs improving - staff, communication, having hot water. being able to use a credit card, not being blindsided about having to use cash.
Emplacement : very hard to locate this place. It took us over an hour once inside the grounds. Security guards were even confused. Very difficult
I made the reservation through Expedia. Once we found the hotel, they made us pay them $200 cash and an additional $100 deposit cash. I explained to them, that I reserved this through Expedia and that it was never written in the information that it would have to be paid in cash.
The hotel lady said that the hotel was not affiliated with Expedia. I told her, that was impossible because I made the reservation through Expedia. Instead of arguing, we went to the hotel villa. There was no hot water.
late at night, it sounded like someone was knocking on the door. But there was no one there. This made the stay very uncomfortable and a bit scary.
In the morning, again, no hot water and to our surprise no electricity. Although, once we called them they had someone fix the electricity right away. But still no hot water. It was a nice place. But was not comfortable, it felt oddly strange to stay there. We received our security deposit with no problem upon checkout.
I would never stay there again. Bad experience.
