Horrible experience over a clogged toilet.

Bad customer service in his part, some German man with no customer service skills. Guess he was mad to be called out for 5 minutes to our villa to use a plunger only. Well the bad experience came about when we checked out and all of a sudden, the surprise visit from hotel staff that we MUST pay for a clogged toilet or they will charge my credit card. Spoke to another German lady and as they put her to speak to me. She thought i was her staff, she tells me in Spanish: charge their credit card! I said: ma'am your speaking to your guest, things aren't done this way and for $10 American dollars your losing 7 American tourist. Shame on them.

Thank you for your review. We do appreciate you took your time to let us know what you had not liked about your staying.
We would like to inform you, that Sosua Ocean Village has not any German employees at the moment.
Anyway, we would like to inform you, that since that we have done renovation work and cleaned the sewerage at all our units.
As for the charge, our clients always could contact Customer Service about any issue inside of the apartment o villa and we'll do our best to solve the problem. For example, if the toilet is clogged, you could inform us and our workers will solve it.
In case the issue happend because of the guests - for example, the guest broke the bed or the guest put indelible things at the toilet - in that case client should pay for the damage.
We are really sorry for the situation. Please, take our apologies.

Such a beautiful hotel, but boring, no activities.
Publié le 22 déc. 2015 sur ExpediaHotel beautiful, you own your own, no activities, no service non what so ever, pay your own foods but restaurant is good, after 6.00pm just like all ghost town. Over price just to sleep.

Hello. Thank you for your review. We do appreciate you took your time to let us know your opinion about Sosua Ocean Village.
Concerning the activities, the project may seem a little bit quiet, but for many of our customers it is an advantage because there is no bustle and noise, it is calm, safe and relaxing.
Actually Sosua Ocean Village offers different activities, as a kids playground and mini zoo which are open till 11 PM, Al Porto Restaurant and Bar open till 11 PM, modern GYM complex open till 7.30 PM, Basketball court with open till 10 PM and others. In addition, we have all the major commodities at the project itself such a water park, tennis, spa and cosmetologist services and many others which are open by appointments. And of course the Sosua town city is in 5 minutes on taxi where you could join supermarkets, restaurants and discos and a lot of other things to do.
