Belle emplacement mais bruyant!

Cet Hôtel offre une magnifique vue, la chambre est très rustique et déco de mauvais goût. La chambre est grande, salle de bain aussi, surtout la douche. Il y a un grand balcon avec une magnifique vue sur Soufriere et la mer, et le restaurent aussi. L'hôtel offre le petit déjeuner pour 20$us mais il y en a assez pour 2 personnes et est composé d'oeufs, bacon, verre de jus et café., le souper (dîner) est au coût de 30$ us est correct mais possible de trouver meilleur en Ville. Les propriétaires sont gentils et serviables mais insiste beaucoup pour le taxi. Il faut dire qu'il y a une bonne pente pour accéder à l'hôtel mais c'est pour cela qu'il a une belle vue! Si vous n'êtes pas un bon marcheur prenez un taxi. Le plus gros défaut de l'établissement est que nous entendons tous les bruits de la ville ( musique, coqss, chiensss) donc apporté vos bouchons!

The website promised breakfast was included and it was not and unexpectedly we had to pay at the hotel instead of paying online. Both of these came as a surprise but luckily we had enough cash to pay. Don't expect a lot from here just a place to crash over night.

Bad bed, bad pillows, not welcoming owners

Room was advertised as it had a fridge. But upon arrival I found out it wasn't true. Andria, the owner, treated me like it was my fault. She said she's never mentioned a fridge in her ad; that website misled me; that a room for $45US couldn't have a fridge. I found her attitude as a rude one. I said her it was the issue between her and website and asked not to get me involved on this. She kept me in the waiting area for a half hour. Eventually she allowed me to keep my food in the fridge in the kitchen. I was on vacation and having unexpected problems made me feel bad. The bed and pillows were very bad, I couldn't sleep well. I like cooking. As I didn't order anything from them Andrea and her husband treated me with sarcasm. At the end, my flight back home was cancelled due to a winter storm. I didn't wan't stay there anymore and decided to move out to another place which is twice more expensive as I realized that cheap is not good. When in the morning I asked Andria and her husband if I could check out at noon, they both said it was OK. Her husband offered me a ride to airport. When I said my flight has been cancelled and I'm going to another place, they both changed their minds and asked me to check out at 11am. When I asked him to take me to a bus stop that's 0.7 miles away only, he asked $20. We agreed on $15. Nothing except money is important for these people. 4 out of 6 rooms were empty. The location is good but owners aren't.

I was very disappointed with the condition of the room. The entrance door was like a sun door with space between the door boards. In my opinion this was not worth the price I paid and will never recommend this place to anyone. Disappointed.

First and Last

This hotel was not rated yet and it does not give me pleasure that I need to provide you with this review and disappointment. Be aware of the true details of this guest house. It should be rated as a B&B and destined for 'trekkers'. If the room price was billed for the view from the terrace, we could maybe half agree, however no air conditioning, no refrigerator (was indicated as amenity), no 110 and only one outlet 120, faulty lighting, tricky pathway from entrance to the rooms, etc. There is free parking, however it should be mentioned that you go 11% up hill and park in the bush. Breakfast was announced at $15.00, but charged $ 20. It was undoubtedly the highlight of the stay. Really good, fresh and a lot. However the view and the breakfast were unable to make up for the lack of comfort, noise in the night and being far from the beach. This guesthouse should not be considered for business or family travel.
