"Amazing hotel and spa in Nagano area. About 30mins by bus from Nagano Station to Kandabashi station. Then 2min walk to the hotel. Hotel has an onsen which is great! Lobby has drinks and snacks at different times of the day. Includes unlimited soft drinks, alcohol, tea, coffee, water and snacks. Coin laundry with dryer is available if you need to wash clothes. Great view of the mountains from our room. "

"Located adjacent to the train station, this modern hotel had plenty of amenities and warm comfortable and quiet rooms. Close to restaurants and shopping. Amazing food and gourmet items and local wine and sake in the walkway connected upper level of the train station. Friendly staff at the front desk. Our hotels.com reservation was located with just passport. Our bill matched our pre-reserved price."

"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. The location is on the main drag which is nice. But it should be 1/2 the cost and even then I’d reconsider for other places."
