We arrived at around 7:15pm, but the door of the reception was closed! And they even didn't accept us to have the dinner at its restaurant, the staff said the lastest reservation time for the dinner was at 6:45! We stayed at a room, not a cottage, we can hear the people who stayed next room, talking clearly just as they were sleeping beside you, it is not private at all!

Hi Daniel,
7pm is our last seating for the Restaurant during the summer months, which means you can reserve for dinner for 7pm not 6:45, not sure where that time came from, but I will find out. What was the date you stayed here and under what name was your booking made? Did you book a room or cottage? Looking forward to hearing from you.

It is a great place. It's about 20 mins to Algonquin Park and is surrounded by the great view. To be honest, I love the lake which is in front of the cabin.

classic cabin
Publié le 19 août 2017 sur ExpediaNice quiet place, the staff was very nice. Room was rustic but clean and well equipped. Overall it was a classic cabin experience. Price was on the high side.

Wonderfully situated at beautiful lake, close to Algonquin park. Excellent restaurant, charming, well-equipped cottages. Free kayaking and canoeing, ideal for kids aged 6+

Great lodge in the heart of nature

The cabins and rooms are very comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly, professional and good at their jobs. The dinning room staff and cook are amazing. This is the perfect spot for a beautiful escape from the business of life to relax on beautiful Lake Spectacle. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great relaxing time in the gorgeous heart of nature.
