Beautiful little cabin
Publié le 1 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayOur family really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very nice and we really enjoyed the lake. We used the kayaks and had a great time. Smaller cabin but perfect for a weekend. Comfortable beds! Very happy there was a tv with wifi! Shower is a little small. Neighbors are nice. They do have dogs that run off leash but we are happy with our stay.

A relaxing getaway

Great experience
Publié le 17 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time. The cabin was a great place to stay for a week. Fishing was amazing. We enjoyed that a lot. The only complaint I would have is there was not enough toilet paper for two people for a week and the neighbor dogs kept coming over and pooping in the yard which obviously the owners of this cottage have no control over.

Family Time At Its Finest

Relaxing cabin
Publié le 6 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayVery relaxing, comfortable beds and liked having the kayaks/boats available for use. It is a smaller cabin, but worked fine for the 4 of us amd 2 small dogs. Many untensils available along with nice grill, all pots/pans and table ware, papertowel, tp, and extra blankets available if needed.

I'm glad you found the Lucky Loon Cottage so relaxing and appreciated the basic amenities. This is an older cottage which has been in the family for years. You are correct, it is not luxury, yet it is a clean, simple cabin along the lake.

Dirty
Publié le 5 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayPlace was filthy. Kitchen was filled with beach toys , oars life jackets stacked in the corner. Dusty dirty tables. Shower had black foot prints in it and walls were filthy, and sink had tooth paste splattered all over. All the counters were dirty. We spent over an hour just making it livable but it was still dirty. Rugs were filthy. Rooms and closets full of old junk and stuff every one who has ever been there left behind and cupboards full of everyone's left over packaged food junk.Coffee pot had grounds in it and left over coffee. Place is cluttered with too much junk. Suggestion ? Clear it out throw away all the junk and clean it top to bottom. Fishing was great nice little beach ,but vacationers want to feel as if its their cabin for their stay not sitting in a cabin museum full of old junk.

I'm very sorry. I'm glad you called our office and expressed your supreme disappointment with the cabin when you first arrived. We worked together to rectify the situation the best we could during your stay. I'm sorry my cleaning staff obviously fell short. We will be terminating this cleaner as a result of your experience. There is no excuse. We have also discussed your vigorous opinion about the " cluttered junk" in the cabin with the property owner. I agree that when you rent a cottage, you should feel as though it is yours for the time you are there. Again, I'm deeply sorry that was not the case when you arrived.

South Branch Cabin
