It was very nice for the lodge staff to leave me a key on the front door for my late check-in and then I left a special ring of mine in my room and the cleaning lady gave it to the front desk! I was ecstatic to receive a text informing me not only that they found it but that they would mail it to me! Now that is excellent service and not easy to find. I’d stay there again!! I value their integrity!!

For the price thought daily room service was in included not the case. Stayed 5 days there not linen/ towels changed.

We typically offer housekeeping for our longer staying guests every 3 days however this was an unexpectedly busy week and we were short-staffed. We will do our best to provide a better experience for you on your next visit!

Needs to be remodeled. Plug in bathroom did not work facet in the bath tub was about to fall off. Staff was very nice.

Uncomfortable Night

We checked in around 8 p.m. Our keys were wrapped in paper taped to the office door. There was no AC or fan in the room. Rooms do not come with AC per owners. I was not aware of this when booking the room. We had to sleep with the windows open to cool off. I felt very unsafe and will never stay there in the future. If you call the office after 10 p.m. there is no one to return your call.

We understand it can be hot some days here though the majority of the year does not call for AC so we do not stock our rooms with them. South Fork routinely has the lowest temperature on average compared to the rest of the state during the Summer. Though it's not out of the question for the future! As for feeling unsafe we aren't sure what we could have done to help with that, we are in the middle of town across the street from the Police station with security cameras in every corner covering every room filming 24/7. We are open to suggestions, however! Thank you for giving us a shot anyways, we hope your next visit is a more pleasant one.

Joshua was the most grascious host. The room was clean and the area was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable.

Clean, Neat, & Comfortable

Nice room, comfortable bed, clean and neat. Room had a fridge, microwave, and Keurig with coffee pods. Unfortunately there was a loud family staying in a nearby room that was shouting and playing loud music for a few hours at night, but that's not the lodge's fault. There were woods in the back with a nice trail. Overall, it was very good and a decent value. I would stay there again.
