Bathroom had mold, Carpet was dirty.

Really nice person at the front desk at check-in! Room hadn't been vacuumed well as there were several rocks and dirt on the carpet - bathroom floor was a little dirty w other people's hair and a plastic clothes pin. Shower had excellent pressure though, and beds we're comfortable. I'd def stay here again

Good place to astay

Pool and hot tub were broken which must be the norm for this hotel as I stayed in it a year prior and they were broken then as well. Also no elevator for second floor rooms.

Thanks for your feedback Andrew. The pool / Spa unfortunately are out of commission for good. It was fixed for a few months but the city of south fork is supplying the hotel with corrosive water, that is being treated, but is corrosive nonetheless. We will likely convert the space for other use soon. Pool / spa has been removed as a hotel amenity, not sure why you thought we had it operational as it is not listed? An elevator is unnecessary for a property as small as ours as most our room are on the first floor. Next time you’re in town I recommend the Rainbow Lodge or Four Seasons Lodge. Both are comfortable places offering the basics. You won’t find a pool or elevator in South Fork. Sorry.

The front desk person was kind enough to pack us breakfast as we had plans to leave prior to breakfast being served the next morning. It was very thoughtful. The only negative was that we happened to be in a room with a shared door and the inhabitants of that room had on a TV loud enough that we could hear every word. I wish the soundproofing between those rooms was better. I also would prefer not to ever have a room with a shared door.
