With advance request, the twin beds can be converted to a king bed.
Optional 4th bedroom (separately accessed from the outside), with ensuite 2-piece bathroom. This is available when booking for more than 6 people.
The Bedford Lake House is fully climate controlled with central heating, air conditioned, air tight fireplace and equipped with circulating fans in each room. A washer and dryer is available for guest use.
The Property
By the shores, there is a fire pit patio with Adirondack chairs plus more secluded locations with a hammock or reading relaxation and of course a large dock for swimming and docking private boats. There is a public boat launch conveniently nearby. Watercraft provided include kayaks, canoe and a pedal boat.
Access
The location also affords easy access to local hiking and cycling trails and Frontenac Provincial Park is at the west end of the lake. Take a 10 minute drive to the quaint villages of Westport or Newboro, both on the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Alternatively, spend a day in historic Kingston for a 1000 Islands Cruise, a Kingston Penitentiary tour, Fort Henry and many other attractions, as well as a selection of restaurants unmatched by any city of its size.
