Cozy cottage

Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThere are some things, that as a traveler that vacations several times a year, should be listed in the ad. First of all, the shower is VERY SMALL. Anyone over 225lbs would not be comfortable showering in there at all. My 12 year old child who is just over 100lbs felt very claustrophobic.
Additionally, it should be well advertised that the beach access is NOT easy or walkable. Access is 3/4 of a mile away and there are only 3 parking spaces available for the entire community. Also, there were no instructions to the beach left at the home so after searching for 2 days of how to access the beach I had to contact the owner and was sent instructions and a map. That could have easily been left so we could have enjoyed 2 more days at the beach. This beach situation was incredibly disappointing for my entire family.
The refrigerator is small and freezes food so be careful what you put in it.
A couple other things as a traveler that I would suggest.....
You are advertising you cottage as a beach vacation. Supplying beach towels would be great. Most people don't travel with towels, especially when you advertise that you supply towels. Also, there was no shower soap. Luckily I've run into this in the past so I always bring a bar of my own, but it is disappointing when we are not accommodated with everthing that would normally be found in a hotel room
As for the kitchen....The dishes were dusty inside. You can eliminate this by turning them upside down. I had to rin

There are pictures of all the rooms, including the bathroom in the posting, as well as the map of how to get to the beach. I'm so glad you messaged me and received more detailed explanations. I'm always happy to respond and help resolve any issues or inconveniences before guests leave.

Perfect Michigan Cottage
Publié le 4 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage is small but had all the necessities. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of bathroom towels for our 5 day stay. Kim was super responsive when messaged. The neighbors are close, but the houses are still staggered and spaced enough to not feel suffocated. It was awesome that the cottage was pet friendly and the neighborhood appeared to be as well.Private beach access was awesome! It was mostly rock instead of sand, but was still perfect for watching sunsets.Town is reasonable distance, but beware cell service is spotty so prior to getting to cottage and logging into WiFi have info available to get in! Cottage was dated but clean.

Perfect cottage in a serene location.
