South Haven 2024 Vacation
Publié le 20 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had 13 adults and 3 kids for this year’s Family vacation. We found the Hideway to be a great place to stay. Loved the indoor pool, a big hit. The house is huge, very well stocked and very clean. Manager is very responsive.
Loved Lake Michigan beaches, boated in Paw Paw Lake and shopped downtown. A great time had by all.

Great for families!
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a fantastic property for a three generation family get together. Plenty of seating inside and outside for all 18 of us to be at the table together. The yard is so perfect for children - safe, flat, spacious. The grandchildren played soccer and whiffle ball. We held our Family Olympics outside. The indoor pool is a huge plus on cool Michigan days. Super well-equipped kitchen. Anytime we had an issue, no matter how minor, the property manager took care of it within minutes. Our family had an amazing time!

South Haven Family Reunion
Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad plenty of room for our family group of 11 adults and 15 kids. All bathrooms are shared. Had an issue with a circuit breaker popping off, but overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Family week
Publié le 15 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a group of 22 ranging from infants to 65. We had a great time and the set up of the house worked well for our needs. We had a few hiccups, but they were addressed in a timely matter.
The only drawback was that the WiFi was pretty spotty. We had a few that worked remotely. They were able to get it done, but it took a little creativity.
Overall it was great!

We recognize that strong WiFi is important to families and therefore have placed routers in the living and dining rooms and also in the poolhouse and den. Service in the sleeping areas is still spotty so we are working on that next. Hope to see you and your family back again. Michael

Family reunion

We had 20+ family members. Several family members traveled from California, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Ohio and Illinois. Detroit airport and Midway in Chicago were reasonable drives for them.
The kitchen area and dining table was perfect for our large family gathering for meals and games.
Outside eating was equally as accommodating for meals off the grill and fire time in the evenings.
The bedrooms in the guest wing( rooms 1,2,3 and 4) are each accessible from an outside door or you have to pass through each room from the inside. Not a deal breaker and we were all family.
The inside pool area and hot tub were perfect for our late May/early June stay as the weather did not affect our water play.
The grounds were well maintained with flowers and hanging baskets and we enjoyed some outside family games in the large front yard.
We would definitely consider this for a future family gathering

Thank you Vicki. Large indoor and outdoor dining tables were critical to our design of the property. The grandparents in our own family have always wanted the whole family gathered around the same table for meals, games and conversation. So we made sure that other families could enjoy that at North Haven Family Retreat. Sure glad you did and hope we get to see you and your family again. Michael

Great Memorial Day Weekend
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayHad 5 families and the facility was perfect with every family having their own room and separate room for the kids. The indoor pool and sauna were great fun. Also the spacious yard and fire pit were spot on. I highly recommend this place for groups of 20+!
