After the beach return to a wonderfully heated pool that is easily accessible for the elderly and had many games for the younger crowd. In addition the host had put out a wonderful welcome basket with wine, cheese and chocolate which was a real treat. The interior is impeccably clean and has a pool table and foosball game. The kitchen and bathrooms have all the amenities anyone would need. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay! Thank You!!

Perfect in every way

They loved the billiard table, fooseball table. swimming pool and table tennis. The beach was so close - and having chairs and a wagon to use made the beach days a no fuss day. The walk to town was easy; barely needed my car once we arrived. Hope to be back to the same property each year. The hose was beyond helpful and easy to work with.

We are from France, so it was such a kind thoughtful treat to have cheese & wine awaiting us. The location was PERFECT! My family & I took a 5 minute bikeride into downtown. There is a nearby locsl grocery store within a 5 minute walk. We walked 2 minutes to the beach to swim & watched a gorgeous sunset! We all enjoyed the heated pool and the countless hours of ping-pong. The rooftop above the pool house was perfect for sunbathing & beautiful views of Lake Michigan! The spiral staircase was really cool.
My family & I have stayed at countless VRBO over the years. And this place by far is our top two picks. Outstanding job Martha! We will definitely be back with family & friends.

Attention to Detail in the Perfect Location
Publié le 13 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property sets very high expectations... then meets them! Communication and availability is A+. No, I don't mean above average. I mean phenomenal, gold standard stuff. Attentiveness, welcoming, and privacy all on the nose for what we look for and appreciate.
The house was exactly as advertised. Soft sheets, clean couches, fresh air... the cleanliness and amenities left nothing standing in the way of comfort and vacation. When a spouse's biggest complaint about a trip is wanting a couple fewer steps between the kitchen and the dining table, you know it was a good trip. In hindsight, we should have unpacked better and used the laundry room (especially the dryer) a bit more.
We appreciated that the place was crawler-friendly (sorry, we couldn't remember where that decorative pitcher was originally!), with tons of thoughtfulness for kids - bikes, toys, a stool, and more were ready for action. So cool.
For people wanting a pool and a beach, I don't think that there's a better location in South Haven. We feel very fortunate that the cottage that best fit our needs was available. This listing stands out and was worth it. Thanks, Marta!

Ideal location for family getaway

Marta had taken care to put out many toys and bikes for our daughter to enjoy. From beach towels and pool toys to a little toy rollercoaster, our daughter was in heaven! Our pack n play fit comfortable in the bedroom. Can't say enough good things about this rental. This was our second time staying, and we will be back!

Wonderful Stay

Publié le 7 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe weather was not so good, but we were able to play pool ping-pong. Thanks to Marta going out and getting a heater for the pool house. Loved how convenient and wonderful the fireplace was and just you wait when you arrive you receive this wonderful basket from farmhouse, deli, delicious, salted caramels avocado artichoke dip, bagel chips, wine and wonderful cheeses how very thoughtful the beds are super super comfortable with wonderful linens. The towels are big and fluffy.
Thank you Marta for such a wonderful experience for me and my girls.
