Private Quiet Meadow house

Felt like home only Better
Posted Aug. 24, 2024 on HomeAwayOur family has visit Lake Tahoe for decades, we have camped, stayed in lodges, hotels. Last year we took our 86 year old mother to celebrate her birthday as Lake Tahoe and Fallen Leaf Lake are her favorite places. We needed a place comfortable for her that could accommodate 8 of us. This was PERFECT.
This was a year later only this time we celebrated her memory, she walked into heaven this year. We all loved being in this beautiful serene home to laugh and cry and laugh some more. It was glorious to cook in this kitchen and just sit on the patio watching the meadow… morning coffee, evening glass of wine. Melinda is an incredible host so attentive and thought of everything in her home. This is a gem of a place perfectly located near heavenly village and easily everywhere we needed to be. Thank you Melinda, what a blessing.

Great Stay

Perfect Tahoe cabin for small group
Posted Aug. 12, 2024 on HomeAwayBeautiful little cabin in south Tahoe, perfect for our small group’s weekend get away. 15-20min drive to the downtown area and beaches. Melinda the host was very lovely and easy to communicate with. Dog friendly. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We loved grilling and enjoying the summer breeze on the patio. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful vacation house
Posted Aug. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayFamily friendly, very clean, great kitchen in an house that combines modern appliances and comforts with a rustic cozy feel. Kitchen was very well equipped and the AC was a blessing. Enjoyed being outside on the patio and feeling one with nature yet only 10 minutes away from the lake, grocery store and restaurants. One of my favorite VRBO stays yet.

A perfect stay!

Melinda's home is lovely -- it's hard to list all of the good things: the home is well laid out, the location was central to all of our activities, the beds are really comfortable, the kitchen is extremely well-stocked, it was extremely clean (especially considering it's pet-friendly), and the view of the meadow is gorgeous and so relaxing! Melinda was a great communicator -- she made sure we had all the information we needed for a wonderful stay, and responded immediately when I had a random question about trash day. Our friends were renting nearby and they were jealous of how beautiful this house is! Highly recommend!!
