I normally love this little place. This time I didn’t care for the room I was placed in and the shower wasn’t working correctly.

It is a basic place to stay for the night - nothing fancy or upscale. Clean, fairly conveniently located, good outdoor space and facilities, it meets all the basic requirements.

Another Excellent Stay

I didn't stay. When I got there, there was construction materials and multiple pickup trucks - I did not feel safe, and drove several hours to get home instead of staying.

Thank you for letting us know about your concerns regarding your reservation. We'd like to respond to them accordingly. The pickup trucks you mentioned belonged to the owners, who were finishing the final day of a 90-day beautification renovation project for the rooms. Additionally, there were two other pickup trucks belonging to guests staying at our lodge at that time.Upon your arrival, the owner of Playpark Lodge noticed your car entering the parking lot and began walking towards you to extend a warm welcome. However, it seems there was a misunderstanding as you did not stop.Room 7's renovation was completed several weeks ago, and we were fully prepared for your arrival. We assure you that there were no materials obstructing the entrance to Room 7.To maintain excellent customer service and security, our owners live on the property, and we have a robust security system with both audio and video capabilities. We hope this clarifies any concerns and we appreciate your understanding.
