It's okay, close to the casinos, but needs work

We had a leaking toilet, both shower heads were leaking, requiring someone from maintenance who came over but left behind used towels on the floor and a box of AA and AAA batteries. There was a build up of dust under the sofa and caked onto the furnace. The shower floors were peeling and cracked. We had a curtain that couldn't be closed in the kitchen, and one in the bedroom would not properly close that light always got inside. One of the TV remotes was missing a back lid. The cupboard in the kitchen was off in it alignment cabinet door alignment. The linoleum in the floor folded up. The line to the water heater had frozen. Communication with management was difficult as it would route to a management company and the owners were out of state. There was no washer or dryer to do laundry.

This is an amazing placed to stay in S Lake Tahoe. It's very close to Heavenly where lots of activities takes place.

Bare bones but nice place with great location
Publié le 28 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayYou really can't beat the location of this place. It's within walking distance to everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. The place isn't fancy and is fairly bare bones but we had everything we needed. I do think with minimal effort, this place could be fantastic. The rug in the bedroom should be replaced with something that doesn't show spots or dirt as easily and there are some minor blemishes on the walls and baseboards that could be touched up and some new caulking around the toilets added. But overall, we had a fine stay here.

Dirty Dump
Publié le 18 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayIt smelled, stains on carpet, dated, dirty showers, dirty kitchen rags, hair and stains on bath towels. I tried to contact local management and never received a call. We left within 15 minutes of checking in and had to make other arrangements on the spot. The pictures are deceptive as marketed.

Clean,Nice, Simple, Older Structure
Publié le 5 août 2022 sur HomeAwayNicely remodeled old Motel. Construction of one of the rooms was ongoing but the contractor was cool. Great location. A/C would have been nice but paddle fans did well. Heater in master bedroom appeared to be on reel low, once that was turned off room was much cooler at night. It is an older place so noise travels through the walls easily. Adding a Coffee maker in the room would be a plus. Walking distance to shops and heavenly gondola at state line. Nothing fancy about the facilities, but was a comfortable place to sleep in a really good location.
