Beware of Wildlife
Publié le 4 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is exactly as describe which was good overall. However, there are possums on the grounds that apparently the front desks knows about. One rubbed up against my husband's leg, but thankfully when he jumped up, it hissed at him and scurried away. My suggestion is to stay away from the courtyard and pool area in the evening. It's clear that the property management isn't interested in removing the rodents. There's construction on the outside of the buidling taking place and as a result, there is cement specks all over my SUV. As for apartment 407, its a little small, but has everything needed. If you have little ones who need to take a bath, bring your own stopper as there isn’t one in the bathroom. The water drains slow in the bathroom. The internet is horrible. What made being there enjoyable is the location and the beach access. If you use the washing machine & dryers downstairs, be prepared to pay $3 per machine and the dryers dont dry clothing completely the first time around. Although there's a grocery store up the street, everything cost more on the island. I suggest going to Walmart before you cross the bridge.

Great views and location

The owner was very responsive when the wifi was laggy. The pillows were kind of flat, but that was minor. Would definitely stay again!

Girls trip
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayI brought my daughters to the area for all break, while the jelly fish caused a little damper to our beach days, the trips was still great. The unit was perfect for our needs, and we loved being able to see the sunrise from one balcony and the sunset from the other. We were within kid friendly walking distance to a variety of shops, restaurants and fun!!

Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and anything else that you needed for cooking.
Restaurants are within walking distance.
Greg was quick to answer any questions that I had.

Fantastic view
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat stay at this property. It was cozy and we really enjoyed the view and the short stroll to the beach from the building. The bed was very firm, as others have mentioned but we still slept just fine. Appreciated the keyless entry when coming and going, not having to keep up with a key was so nice. Great location.

Balcony or Beach - can't go wrong
Publié le 9 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis condo was perfect for my family! The kitchen had all the utensils and pans I needed for preparing my meals. The bed was SO comfortable (can't recall last time I slept so well!) The location AND the view did NOT disappoint! We were able to see fireworks from both balconies as promised! The property itself is well maintained and the pool was a great option for when the kids needed a break from the surf. We will definitely be returning .... South Padre Island has the most beauitful waters and the views from this rental was the best part <3

Publié le 3 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWell kept grounds/pool/lobby/elevators. Convenient to beach, pool, shops, Louies Backyard. Many, many dishes/gadgets/boogie boards (left behind). Main TV kept freezing but good wifi connection. Almost zero room to store groceries. Appliances working well. Host leaves starter tp, dish soap, hand soaps, papertowel, thank you! Quiet, family place. Master bed was comfortable for us as well as 2nd bedroom beds.
We will be back!

Ideal family beach trip
Publié le 20 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed for 3 nights with 2 teenagers. Easy proximity to beach and Gravity Park/arcade are a big plus and the balcony has a great view. The place is very clean and well-stocked. We enjoyed our stay.
