Perfect beach location. Beautiful grounds. This property is close to everything. Pet friendly too. They even provide doggie shampoo for after the beach!

Family Vacation
Publié le 1 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe aren't world travelers by any means, but we have stayed in our fair share of rental properties. This place felt like staying with neighbors or family friends. Nothing like anywhere we have ever stayed and hosted by people that are one of a kind as well. Lynn and Captain Kevin are helpful, pleasant and welcoming. They are happy to communicate with you and answer questions or give you info about the island and surrounding areas.
The house is comfortable, cozy and right across the street from a beach access. Not to mention walking distance (literally less than 10 minutes) from food, shops and activities. The house feels like a home and not like a hotel room or vacation condo.
We really enjoyed ourselves and any time we head back to SPI from now on I can't imagine staying with anyone else.

Fantastic Stay Right By the Beach

We had our three boys with us, age 8, 10 and 12 - Lynn set up a cot bed between the twin beds for my third son without us even asking. She greeted us when we arrived and made herself available - but they had already thought of everything. From the book with thoughtful reviews of all the restaurants on the island to the variety of chairs on the porch with the gorgeous beach view, she and Captain Kevin had gone above and beyond. Besides that, we were right across from the beach, and right next to a grocery store, which just made everything so easy. We are hoping to make this an annual trip.

Great Location

The owner is super friendly and always very helpful. It’s very accommodating provide if beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, and a wagon. Makes it nice to be able to travel light. Highly recommend.

Great beach house in the perfect location!
Publié le 6 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWish we could have stayed longer! This awesome beach house is in the perfect location. The beach is just across the street, and many restaurants are within walking distance. We stayed over the July 4th holiday and walked a short distance to watch fireworks at Jim's Pier. We also played putt-putt at Gravity Park and then finished up the evening with a custom cookie ice cream sandwhich at The Baked Bear. Walking home was great as it allowed us to avoid the traffic! The owners were great and we hope to stay here again in the future.

Family Beach Fun.

Lynn and Captain Kevin are superior hosts. They are friendly and attentive. The house is equipped with practically any item you may want for your stay.

South Padre Stay
Publié le 7 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at the Bougainvillea Beach House! The layout was great for the four of us and our dog and we loved having three bathrooms. The unit was nicely equipped and came stocked with beach chairs, coolers, wagons, etc. The owners were very welcoming and communicated well. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
