Great place to stay!

This condo was clean and had everything you need. Beds were comfortable , but the pillows were not as comfortable. Other than that no complaints. Towels and sheets very clean. Pool was small but very nice and clean. My family had a great time.

So-so Lodging

This property is not being well taken care of. We had issues with the front door lock, broken blinds in the bedroom, lack of toilet paper holder, and "no signal" on the TV in one of the bedrooms. All items but the TV were reported but no one ever came to fix them.

Patricia, we are disheartened to read that you experienced issues that kept you from fully enjoying your stay. We apologize for the areas you found in need of some TLC and our local manager assured us that the broken blinds have been replaced. Additionally, they checked the lock on the front door and it is in good working order and the TVs are working, as well. Nice, but...

While the condo was nicely set up with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen, the air was musty when we walked in and the AC did not work. I reached out to Vacasa twice about the air quality issues and both times they responded and said they would get a local property manager to come and address our issues - after 5 nights nobody had contacted us locally and the idssue never got addressed. The only relief was that there was a dehumidifier in the condo which helped with the mustiness, however, it pumped out warm air when it ran making it quite warm with no AC to cool it down. Also, there was a metal plate in the ceiling of the second shower (looked like an air-handler cover) that was rusting and dumped rusty water on the shower floor and on our son and daughter-in-law twice while there. So, the condo is nice, but old and unfortunately not maintained in good mechanical condition.

Long overdue visit to South Padre

We have not been to South Padre for a few years and missed it. The condo was very close to the beach, so we were able to walk there easily. A cold front arrived along with us so we ended up inside the condo more than we intended, but we were all comfortable. The kitchen is equipped for making some food to eat there, which we did. Everything was very clean.

Motel not condo

When I booked it showed condo with kitchen. I got there and it was a motel room. When I called to get a refund someone updated the website to show motel style room. I would of not booked as I had no money to eat out and expected a kitchen. False advertisement and then for you all to update after my complaint and tell me it showed motel style room when I booked was so wrong of you.

Puppy beach trip

We have been bringing our kids to SPI for 20 years. We always wanted to take our dogs but finding Properties that worked for family of 6 and allowed pets was always hard. We finally got to let our dogs have a beach trip - Property was perfect and we all had a really good time.
