Disappointing
The people are extremely nice. Unfortunately, we had a problem with roaches. So did the couple that we traveled with. It made it hard to eat breakfast knowing this. We work in the Pest Control industry so we know it’s not just limited to one room when you have this problem, typically. The bathtub was visibly worn and needed some simple attention to solve the problem. It just seemed basically rundown. The front desk people were very nice. I don’t blame them.

The only thing I could complain about was the bath tub. The enamel was peeling up and it was painted over. Although it looked pretty dirty, it was just ..what looked like painted over rust. Everything else was fine. The back door that I could look out and watch the white caps on those waves, awesome. Everyone was nice.

We stayed during the Christmas week, 2024. Enjoyed the view, food, weather and music performances every Saturday night. The room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent! Free parking and safe.

The pool looked like it was under construction and unavailable for use. Wish this was stated as I would not of chosen this hotel for the hefty price tag. Walls are very thin and if you’re on the first floor good luck sleeping! You can hear every footstep in the hallways. Also chose a pay at the property option and they charged my card before I arrived and threatened to cancel my reservation if I did not pay right then (it was 2am morning before check in)

Awesome experience
Overall, I loved how clean and friendly the staff was. Room was good sized and plenty of space for more than 2 people. Showers were a bit disappointing as I feel they could use an upgrade but not a deal breaker. What sold me was the connecting walkway to Claytons next door so that was a HUGE plus as I didn't have to drive after having a few cold ones. That's a win win situation. Access to the beach was another plus as well. I will definitely reuturn again
