Publié le 12 août 2022 sur HomeAwayIl était très agréable d’avoir notre plage privée. Nous y avons passé de belles heures à marcher sur la plage et à admirer les couchés de soleil. La maison était très confortable avec toutes les commodités. Notre seule déception: des moustiques féroces en grand nombre. Apportez du chasse moustiques…

So glad you and your family enjoyed your stay, except for the mosquitos!
We have heard that there are more mosquitos that normal due to the wet Spring and summer humidity this year on PEI. For these reasons we decided to have our lawn mowing guy start spraying a mosquito spray but unfortunately that didn't help you. He just got everything up and running. We feel this will help this situation in the future.
We know it can be an issue so we have the screened in gazebo and the screened porch to allow guests to enjoy their time the bugs when they are at their worst.

Beautiful property in a lovely location
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property has a comfortable three-bedroom house, well-furnished and with plenty of forethought for dogs’ comfort. There were clear indications of expectations for the dogs (all reasonable) and provision of dog towels and dishes.
We hadn’t appreciated that the house looks west toward the beach, so we were treated to beautiful sunsets every night, a real treat.
We didn’t realize how prevalent mosquitoes would be, but it was also very manageable — most days, they were active in the early morning and then again late afternoon and evening.
We loved our stay, recommend it.

Peaceful getaway
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at Bellmora Beach House. We and our dog enjoyed our walks on the beach which was a few steps away. The sunsets here are truly spectacular! The cottage was very cozy. It’s in a great location close to restaurants and an amazing bakery with delicious pastries.

Sweet beach cottage by the shore
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cottage is so very charming. The beautiful birch trees and gardens in the front are so beautiful when you look out at the evening sunset. The house sits very near the beach and the red sand is truly interesting. Twice we saw two bunnies hopping through the yard. This house is a great location for seeing Orwell village and riding the ferry to Nova Scotia where we saw the Museum of Industry. It is also not too far from Charlottetown and Anne of Green Gables sights. The Anne of Green gables musical is so much fun. PEI has so many beautiful crops that we were not used to- fields of shining golden grains and purple potato tops. All of PEI is so much fun to explore and this is such a nice place to come home to each day. The house is stocked with everything from games to cooking utensils. Thank you for sharing such a special place. We hope to return one day in the fall or spring.
