Summary:
Barndominium/Paradise Stables is located in Paradise Pointe, a gated mountain retreat at the tri-state corner of AL/TN/GA. Hike the trail to stand in three states at once! Enjoy access to the huge indoor pool house with a communal hot tub, outdoor deck, seating, and more. All 19 rentals share these amenities. Plus, enjoy two small basketball courts, sand volleyball, horseshoes, and more for endless fun!

The Space:
Welcome to Paradise Stables Barndominium, a cozy and charming getaway located on the back side of Paradise Pointe! Nestled above the feed room (with no horses inside), this rustic retreat offers a unique experience where you can wake up to peaceful views of grazing horses in the pasture.

This one-of-a-kind stay features 2 queen beds and a full-over-full bunk bed, providing a comfortable space for your group. Inside, you'll find all the essentials, including a TV, WiFi, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking utensils, and while there’s no dishwasher, we suggest bringing paper products for easy cleanup.

Just a 900-foot walk or quick drive brings you to the front of Paradise Pointe, where you can take in breathtaking bluff views, swim in the huge indoor pool, or soak in the communal hot tub.

For adventure seekers, hike the scenic trail to the tri-state corner of Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia, or enjoy on-site activities like sand volleyball and basketball courts. Guests are also welcome to feed our friendly farm animals during their stay!

We supply firewood for fire pit.

Smoking allowed outside only/Do not throw butts on ground.

Please note that the indoor pool at Paradise Pointe may occasionally be reserved for private parties or events. During these times, access to the pool may be temporarily unavailable to guests. We appreciate your understanding and recommend reaching out before your stay for the most up-to-date pool availability.

Map to property: Please use the maps in the listing photos to find your way around the property. You can drive to 530 County Road 159 (Barndominium) without going through any gates. The gate code will give you access to the Paradise Pointe common area and pool (see map).

Nice getaway
Place was very clean and well stocked. We liked that it was somewhat secluded from the other cabins, considering we had our 1 year old and 6 year old with us and they can get loud. Had a nice big yard and our 6 year old enjoyed his morning visits with the ducks. Will definitely consider staying again!

The check in process was only difficult because we got to the property so late and could not find the actual building. The barndominium ended up being amazing and very comfortable. The communication with the owners was amazing though. We will be back.

We loved this place!
It was exactly as described and very clean. So peaceful and quiet. Horses and ducks visited daily which the kids really enjoyed. The pool was great and the views from the pool deck are amazing. We will definitely be back!! Sylvia was very helpful and friendly!

I love how calm and safe ot is . We left the front door open by accident for 4 hours i was super scared when we came back but everything was in place. Just the beds need a little help the bunk beds were too noisy 😂. But i will definitely go back.

Amazing place…but
We had a really wonderful stay! Reading the previous reviews I was prepared for the “horse smell” and I will say a candle definitely solved that problem. The property is so cool and has lots of fun amenities-my daughter fell in love with all the animals around. Couple of things- they say to bring a blanket and I definitely WOULD! The bedding is very thin. Also, the blinds need a lot of work+curtains would have made this a more comfortable stay for us. We will definitely be going back but probably to stay at a different rental. Overall loved our experience!

Family Getaway
Paradise Resort is a great place for family fun and relaxation. The adults and kids enjoyed the pool, basketball and outdoors. We will return in the future and try one of the other lodging options.

There will be horses in the stable below the space. It is above an area that others work. There are also goats, ducks, and chickens on property. The view from the pool house is breathtaking.

The barndominium was very clean and a perfect location to have that cabin vacation feel and still be close to Chattanooga for sight seeing. The kids absolutely loved the pool (which was heated as a plus) and slide. We also got to see and pet the beautiful horses they had on location. Highly recommend staying here!

Smells like a barn. The property itself of beautiful
The property itself is beautiful! The thing that took away from our experience was the very strong horse (poop) smell. I was hesitant about the listing for this reason to begin with. However, the listing said the horses are no longer kept in this location so I was comfortable that it wouldn’t smell. Sadly, this was very much not the case. All of our luggage/clothes are having to be washed twice due to the strong smell it soaked up while staying there. It is an amazing property with great amenities for the kids.. just know if you choose the barndaminium, prepare for a very strong smell.

Most unique vacation
Let's get this out of the way...you're in a stable. It smells like a stable. There are stable things like noisy horses, and the occasional mouse. If you're afraid of any of that, this specific property isn't for you. However, we took full advantage and loved on the horses as much as possible. It's a fun and unique place to stay and my kids asked if we could come back! It's very close to chattanooga, which was perfect for some spring break tourism. And the pool was the perfect distraction for the kids when we didn't feel like going anywhere. The views by the pool are beautiful. If you're looking for the nostalgic feel of summer camp (but upgraded to include actual beds and kitchen), this is it!

The view was amazing, the kids loved the horse's. The only minor issue with the place was one TV was not plugged up, and could not figure how to hook it up, but it had 3 other tvs so we just didn't bother with it. Overall I will definitely recommend this place.
