Nice big house for extended family gathering
Posted Nov. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayGreat place for extended family gathering! Basement had pool table and ping pong which was fun got multi generational games. Massive leather couch was great for sitting in front of the fireplace! 2 of bedrooms upstairs had a wall that didn’t go to the top of the ceiling so not private.

Dad's 80th
Posted Nov. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayThe property was PERFECT in accommodating our large family - it was quite a feat getting all of us together to celebrate our Dad's 80th birthday!
Both houses were clean and extremely comfortable. All the amenities you could ask for were provided, from extra towels to lots of ping pong balls and paddles. The hearth in the main house was gorgeous and cozy.
The location of the property was great for us. Secluded and quiet, with a short walk down to the lake. We were gifted perfect fall weather for our stay. We were also fortunate enough to get a harvest moon while there. It was breathtaking over the lake.
I highly recommend this property, especially for those with large groups!

Great girls’ weekend

Lake Superior south shore adventure
Posted Sep. 13, 2024 on HomeAwayOur first impression as we drove up to the property was "WOW." The host provided everything...and more... that we needed to have a wonderful stay. He made himself easily available in case we needed anything. The home and grounds are beautiful and private. The great room was especially impressive. And we loved having 500+ feet of private Lake Superior sandy lakeshore. The general consensus of our group was to try to rent the property again next year! Thank you Kristopher!!
One suggestion for improvement. The path to the beach from the house was pretty challenging for our oldest group member. It would be very helpful if you could improve that. The private beach was wonderful! Thanks Kristopher!

Wedding weekend
Posted Sep. 5, 2024 on HomeAwayEnjoyed our stay. Lots of places outside to sit and enjoy the weather. Wish there was a shower in the upstairs bathroom, but we made it work. Lots of memories made.

Great property for a vacation with friends.

The view of the lake along with the cool breeze coming off of it was wonderful especially due to the hotter than normal weather we experienced. There was plenty of room in the backyard for outdoor activities. The house itself was perfect in terms of space and comfort for all of us. Would stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Great place for a family get together
Posted Aug. 7, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a large group with all ages and this house worked perfect for everyone. The beach was swimmable and walkable which was a nice surprise- beautiful at sunset. We played wiffleball in the large yard and had outdoor coverage during the rain by using the open garage. The bathrooms are a little outdated but would highly recommend this property!

Family get together
Posted Jul. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayThis property worked very well for our family gathering with 17 people. Plenty of space to hang out and catch up.
More actual sleeping spaces than listed due to sleeper sofas and futon beds. Kitchen was a little small but functional.
Overall we were very happy with the property.
