Checked in around 10pm, went to the front desk and nobody was there, we called several times (as instructed) from the lobby phone but nobody answered, eventually a lady showed up and quickly checked us into the room.
Room was large enough but had daylight (blue colored) LED lighting instead of warm or neutral colors, it wasn’t very relaxing. There’s ere plenty of USB-A ports which was a bonus USB-C would have been much nicer. The room was quiet despite being next to the interstate. The shower and bathroom were very clean, however the shower suffered from low water pressure, We slept okay, wasn’t great but it was quiet and the mattress wasn’t bad so I can’t complain about that.
The hotel breakfast was probably the largest disappointment. They had mediocre sausage, very poor eggs (probably powdered), waffles and little else. The English muffin was dry and not very good, no hard boiled eggs, yogurt or other protein.

If the price was decent so I’d stay again, but it’s not on the top of my list.

Thanks for giving us a review. I'll try to respond to a few of the items you noted. I apologize we weren't able to get to the desk right away. It could be the case the clerk was on the phone at the time or needed to wash their hands before actually answering the phone. In either case, we appreciate your patience. We're happy you slept well, but are sorry to hear you weren't greeted to a great breakfast. The eggs are indeed liquid, not powdered, and we use either Hormel or Jimmy Dean sausage links, both common and typically well-liked brands. Alongside the eggs and sausage links (or biscuits and gravy) are waffles, muffins, cereal, fresh fruit, juices, coffee and three options for the toaster; we are happy to serve a hot breakfast when many of our guests have let us know this has become rarer and rarer; even hotels with full breakfast rooms are often offering only grab-and-go options. We've tried hard boiled eggs and yogurt in the past. We admit to switching recently from hard boiling our own eggs to serving scrambled eggs due to ever-increasing egg prices. We've also done yogurt in the past, and while it's requested by reviewers on occasion, most days our yogurt was left wholly untouched even after we spent much money purchasing toppings and fancy yogurt displays to boost yogurt consumption. We're not convinced a repeat experiment would be cost effective. In regards to water pressure, this is the first complaint I can recall having about that. I'll put in a work order to have maintenance inspect that shower. I know we have USB ports in the room and purchase alarm clocks and lamps with USB outlets. Being not too tech savvy, I wasn't aware there were different types of USB ports. I'll look into that, thanks. We really appreciate the detailed review; it helps us know where we can improve and gives us a chance to talk about what we've tried in the past and where we might be going in the future.
