Thumbs up for room, thumbs down for housekeeping.
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HotelsWe had a great time. The proximity to the “ waves” was very enjoyable. Upon check in and check out, Michael was extremely courteous and knowable. Our room was in decent shape at the time of check in. We had need to use printer in the lobby and the young man on duty at the time was also very helpful.
We did, however, find the housekeeping staff to be slightly under par. We returned to our room late afternoon to find the bed unmade and the bath not refreshed. We had to wait for them, presenting a very awkward situation of us sitting in the wings as they worked. Never once during our four days there was the sink basin cleaned or sanitized. leaving soap residue evident. We had to call the front desk twice for wash clothes as they were not replenished daily. Staff should be trained and expected to meet certain standards.
So, over all, we made due with the lack of perfection in some areas and enjoyed our time there.

Rm145 was very different. Entrance was in the back of the building. Desk said there was a view of the water, if you went outside and stood on the grass you could see it! Bathroom needs updating. Door does not shut, sink didn't drain but maintenance fixed promptly. Light fixtures in room were rusty. Brochure says all room renovated. They missed this one. Bed was comfortable.

Staff was terrible. Room was fine but the staff made the stay less than ideal.
