Wonderful Stay

My husband, dogs, and I stayed for a long weekend in Oct 2024 so we could do hiking trips with out a long commute from our home on upper Cape. It was an ideal location to go to Race Point Beach, Nauset Beach, and Chatham. The property was immaculate, pictures shown absolutely represent the charm of the property. Lots of little extras like a bag of dog treats, bottles of water, kcups, etc. They even had towels & blankets for dogs. Bathrobes to use the jacuzzi. We used the jacuzzi out last night looking up at the stars. The neighborhood is quiet and all the neighbors we ran into while walking our dogs were warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend this property. Communications with the property owner were seamless through text, funny, kind, and thoughtful. Thank you Mare for allowing us this special weekend.

Welcoming vacation home

We stayed for several nights at this wonderful home away from home. Everything was very clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, all amenities were as stated or better. We were allowed to have our dog with us, which was a great relief because we did not want to leave her, and she was quite comfortable as well. The host was very communicative, hospitable, and friendly. We would definitely consider staying here again if able. Thank you so much for the great time, it was exactly what our family needed!

Thoughtful amenities and great stay!

Wonderful stay in a quiet neighborhood. The owner provided so many sweet extra amenities (like dog treats, a full keurig assortment, beach chairs, umbrellas, mints... you get the idea) and we were very comfortable. Great backyard for us and our dog. Clean and nice hot tub. Easy access to everything around. Would stay there again!

Perfect spot for family of 4!

Very friendly host, extremely clean property with hot tub that was awesome! Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog, and house layout was spacious for our kids to play. Ping pong table was a plus! Would definitely come back.

Great Place

I could not have asked for a better place for the pup and I to enjoy a long, relaxing weekend away. Mare’s home is incredibly well decorated, super clean and has all that you need with plenty of space! The hot tub was the cherry on top! Could not recommend more.

Great home for a family getaway!

This home is so cozy and welcoming and perfect for a family. The host has thought of everything to make your visit fun- popcorn machine, clean towels, welcome treats, outdoor table set and ready for dinner. The location is ideal and just a couple minutes away from beaches, restaurants and entertainment. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. I definitely recommend!

It’s was advertised as 2 bath house , only had 1 bath

Okay but not to par . We were told it is sterilized , however we found dirty towels & sheets We had to was towels . Front storm door broken , stove burners not working, man’s clothes left in closet, grill was filthy

Karen, I avoided reviewing you as a guest because I did not want to be rude...However, I now feel it necessary...In multiple places including my personal welcome text to all my guests and the welcome letter on full display when you enter the home, it says repeatedly if you are not completely satisfied please lmk IMMEDIATELY so I can fix whatever issue you may have. I let you know ahead of time that July 1st was my wedding day but that I can always be reached by phone or text & that I would still be available if you needed "Anything at all at ANY time!" I also explained to you that I had hired a new cleaning company & would have appreciated you letting me know if they did not do a satisfactory job cleaning & sterilizing my home. I spend alot of money to ensure that my home is properly maintained & that my guests are happy, as you can see from my MANY MANY 5 star reviews! IF my house was in fact not clean, you should have immediately sent me photos so I could have MaidPro go back in & clean to your satisfaction. I do not like to be a bother to my guests but when I got no response to my welcome text I texted you the next morning to make sure you were in the house and everything was OK, no response! I then messaged you again on Day 5 & when you finally responded all you said was that you had some issues...REALLY??? The fact that I never heard from you AT ALL until I reached out to you and not until 5 days after check-in only makes me believe that you are just an unhappy person and looking for something to complain about. That's too bad, because I have the same families that stay every year who had to make alternate vacation plans. I would never rent to you again and will now write my review to VRBO that I did not want to have to write. As far as the RIDICULOUS claim that my home is advertised as 2 bath, I asked you several times to show me a listing that said 2 bath, which you of course could not provide. My home is only listed thru VRBO. People can sometimes steal someones ad & try to rent out their home, which is why I asked you to show me. Other than that I really dont know what I could have done to make you happy unless you wanted me to add a 2nd bathroom the first week of your stay. On one last note, as I tell all of my guests, I cannot fix an issue or a concern you might have if I do not know about it!
