Nice house, pool and location

Large, beautiful and super clean house in a great location
Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here with my extended family and had a great time. There were 7 adults and 5 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and hang out. We spent a lot of time around the beautiful pool, and the kids loved playing games on the grass and using the basketball court. The house is close to so many great restaurants, beaches and the town of Southampton.
The hosts left clear instructions and responded to our questions quickly. We hope to come back again!

Summer Trip to the Hamptons
Publié le 22 août 2023 sur HomeAwayMy family and I recently stayed at this home for a week in the Hamptons and had a wonderful time. The home was clean and pretty much had everything we needed. The owners were very accessible and eager to answer any of our questions/concerns. My children loved the pool and the basketball hoop in the driveway. It truly felt like our home away from home! I highly recommend staying here.

Great hosts, lovely vacation.
Publié le 8 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely family vacation in the Hampton's.House had a lovely decor and interior, very spacious, nice pool. Some issues with some blinds and some electrical issues with lights and fans but the hosts offered solutions.We observed an ant issue but wonder if this goes with being at a beach house. We enjoyed our time and would come back again.

Thanks for the review. I’m sorry we don’t supply black out shades :(. For infants. Each room has shades and / or blinds.
The master has black out if needed in the future. Maybe was best if the baby slept in the master. But happy your family enjoyed the time together at our house :). Was not aware of any ants but will have the house manager look asap. Thanks again. Hope to host you and your again. Tracie

Happy in the Hamptons
Publié le 17 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayOur family of eleven (multi- generational) was very comfortable in this beautiful vacation home - plenty of room to spread out yet enough room to accommodate all of us for meals together inside or out - the furnishings and linens are quite luxurious and appliances are top of the line - kitchen is extremely well equipped - heated pool was a bonus as were the towels, pool toys and beach chairs - Tracie was extremely responsive to any questions we had and always responded right away - so glad we found this perfect spot for a special family vacation!

Nice South Hampton House
Publié le 19 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayFirst, let me state that the home was beautiful and in a nice neighborhood. Additionally, there were several times before and during the rental period we reached out to the owner and they were very prompt in their response. There were a couple of problems though.
First there was a serious miscommuniation about the availability of the swimming pool. The fact that the listing showed a heated pool was very exciting for the family and we were looking forward to using it. Unfortunately, it was not available and could not be made available during our visit. While I understand that the listed stated that the heat for the pool was paid for by the owner between Memorial Day and Labor day, there were instructions for "paying" for the heat outside of that window. When we booked this house, we considered other comparable houses for that timeframe that were several hundred dollars less per day without a pool. We believe there should be compensation to us for this total lack of a pool.
The other item (through no direct fault of the owner) was a major water leak that occurred in the master bedroom. We had to put out pans in the family room along with many towels to catch the water that flooded downstairs. We did all we could to ensure there was no additional damage caused to the house, including shutting off the main while we were out. As a result, we did not have availability of the master bath for most of our stay. Even so, we were not offered any compensation

So sorry for this review. It states in the listing in black and white that our pool does not open to the last week in May. In the Hamptons it is 50/60 degrees until after June. It would cost a lot of money to heat it the first few weeks in May and maintain it.
The weekend Chris and his family came to our home it was hotter than usual. We are very sorry once again but everything is detailed in our listing. We over communicate so we have no issues. Sorry if you read it wrong.
Regarding the leak in the master bathroom. Our plumber stated the shower leak wasn't a result of a leak overtime. It was caused by one of the people who were inside the house. The shower hose was pulled out of the wall and sheered. Im sure this was an accident however this is something we could not avoid since it was done by a "person". This cost my husband and I had to pay out of pocket was $2,000 to fix the shower, tile, and family room ASAP since the house was rented the following week.
Unfortunately we could not compensate you back for something that was stated and something that we did not cause.
Overall Chris and his family were very kind and easy to communicate with..

Great Hamptons Stay!
