The carpets were really dirty and seemed like it had never been cleaned properly for a while. The whole room smelled like wet dog. When i informed the receptionist i got told this is a dog friendly hotel and the dogs stay on 1st floor but we were on the second floor and wasnt very helpful. Would never recommend this hotel.

Amazing nights sleep in such a comfy bed
Clean spacious room and bathroom, best sleep of my holiday in super comfy bed with crisp white linen and 4 fluffy pillows. Bathroom towels are nice and big. Excellent breakfast. Friendly efficient staff.

Great location for one nights stay before a cruise. Unfortunately we struggled to park the car due to no spaces, bed was uncomfortable and every time hubby turned over I felt like I was on a trampoline. Breakfast room too busy.

Meeting up with friends
Stayed to meet up with friends, we were allowed to check in half an hour early. We also had adjoining rooms which was great, the rooms were comfortable had a settee so you could relax. Breakfast was good plenty of choice. Would recommend.

Very nice hotel and great breakfast facilities. Staff were really helpful. We needed to use the sofa bed and a travel cot and so it was really difficult to walk around the room but it was fine for 1 night.

Upon arrival in the evening, the car park was full. Went into reception and staff attempted to help, but were talking over each other and disagreeing with each other. One member of staff was quite unhelpful and had an attitude. We were not the only customers facing this and further customers had this issues after us. Who we think was a manager came out and he was fantastic - actually he saved the evening for us with the parking situation and after. The hotel was absolutely full so this may not always be an issue, and they do have overflow parking. As the hotel was full, we were given a room with two single beds. When we moved them to be together, the space behind them was filthy. The bathroom was old. The shower curtain was broken and damp. The toilet did have a smell of urine. Breakfast was chaos but staff were working hard and food was constantly replenished

Convenient and clean
Easy, friendly check in right on time. Nice modern room and clean bathroom. Unexpected complimentary breakfast and free WiFi was much appreciated.

Everthing just felt a bit dated. Shower tiny by todays standards. Also a 12 and 9 year old brother and sister expected to share a sofa bed. We took an inflatable bed knowing it was a sofa bed however there was room for it.
